Series of explosions in Iraq Shia Festival

Just saw it on Sky News a couple of minutes ago -

"Several explosions ripped through the holy Iraqi city of Karbala as hundreds of thousands of Shia Muslims gathered to mark the festival of Ashura.
Shortly after came reports of blasts at a major Shia shrine in Baghdad, in what appeared to be a co-ordinated attack.

Casualty figures are confused, with up to 30 dead reported in Karbala. "

So much for a festival, eh?. This was the first time in decades that the Shia were able to freely observe their holy day.
