I'm not too worried about the 57 states thing, either.

I don't think that anyone here could be followed by cameras and microphones 18 hours a day for six months without making all kinds of verbal mistakes and if anyone really felt that someone on this board was worth trashing, we'd get thrashed, too.

It isn't fair to take exception to common human frailty that does not directly reflect on one's character.

I you really want to make a stink about something, make a stink about Obama's apparently not recognizing the National Anthem or knowing how to conduct himself while it is being sung, although the rendition in this video is probably the worst I've ever heard since Rosanne Barr murdered the National Anthem some years back.

One might conclude that Obama was too stunned by the crude rendition to react as he should have, but as it turns out he's the only candidate on stage who is apparently clueless.

This is a serious gaffe worthy of note.

And now he's also messing up Grandpas military service story as well.
He claims his grandpa enlisted when Pearl Harbor happened.
But service records indicate that his grandpa didn't go in until 6 months later.

And to all those making excuses for Obama, how can we be sure he won't also screw it up when tired and under pressure if he wins the presidency?

This is one of the good things about a campaign like this - it shows how your candidate will perform when things are rough and the chips are down.

So far, not looking too good for either Obama or Hillary.
