Shallow temblor measures 5.7 magnitude; centered 33 miles from Bogota
A shallow earthquake measuring 5.7 magnitude hit central Colombia Saturday, shaking buildings in the capital, Bogota, witnesses and the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake was centered 33 miles east-southeast of Bogota at a depth of 2.2 miles, the USGS said. The agency initially reported a magnitude of 5.8.
