Hi,

Some of you have requested I start a thread on Occultism, as some have questions, I am glad to do this, and hopefully help some of you with any questions you might have.

I am a High Magi 3rd Degree Occultist, I belong to a group here in Melbourne, and as some have speculated, no, I do not belong to the Temple of Set, however we share similar beliefs.

My main studies include the use of High, and Low Magick, and have recently started with Chaos Magick.

I also work with Spirits, and Entities, and also have a Spiritual Guide I communicate with.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have....

High Magick:

In our Temple, High Magick is mostly working with Entities, Spirits, or Gods, Some might call them Demons, another word for High Magick, is "Ceremonial Magick" In Basic terms, High Magick is a very long and intricate process, with the use of robes, ceremonial equipment, like chalices, talismans, candles and an altar, these are all used to assist the Occultist attaining the right frame of mind for performing the ritual ( assists with concentration if you will )

While Low Magick:

The use of low magick is more for "mundane" purposes if you will, it is mostly for material gain, no tedious ceremonies are required, simply the Occultists mind, and perhaps a parchment of paper, whereupon the Occultist will write what he wants and meditate, and "power up" the "prayer" of what he or she wishes to attain"

What are the limits to what you want? Can you obtain knowledge? Can you obtain material things?

As a third Degree, are your coven aware that you broadcast it all over the internet? or are they just playing at being occultists? there is a very good reason for asking this, none of which i am prepared to go into here on ATS, and im sure you would know why.

Im pretty sure there are a few others on here want to know the same answer.

Also apart from Magick what else do you offer? im sure as a third degree you have a lot to offer other than Magick? as you should know there is a lot more to what your saying, and before i go asking useful questions i want to know your for real, dont get me wrong im not saying your not, as you would be aware there are too many out there with their throans of Mud, claiming everything but knowing very little but what is in books, and books do not reveal more than maybe 60% of third degree initiation, Look forward to some answers for the folks..

Well, there is another member of my Temple here on ATS, of a much higher degree than I am, he is the one that introduced me to ATS, and I am not divulging any of our Temple secrets here on ATS now am I ?

I can't say what Temple I belong to, but i can tell you that our Temple is not the kind to "advertise" their beliefs and offer memberships for money over the internet as the TOS does...it is by invitation only.

I know my boundaries of what I am, and am not allowed to talk to with other people.

I am not about to spill my hard earned knowledge to the whole world over a website, but I am more than willing to talk and discuss any Occult topic...to a certain degree.

There are no limits to what you can attain, material, or spiritual, it all depends on your dedication, and your willingness to sacrifice certain parts of your psyche and life in order to get what you desire.

Have you ever heared of/seen a black vortex and know what it does? [edit. in relation to chaos] do you or other members believe in "blessed" [aka chosen] people that have certain vibrations that can help with them with summoning and rituals? these people may be random strangers but are like a lightening rod to the paranormal.

Being an occultist is a lifestyle, it is hard work.

In that sense, you will need dedication.

Now the part where you will have to sacrifice part of your psyche, is if you wish to attain "forbidden" knowledge.

You will work with Gods, Demons, Spirits and other entities, and you will Invoke them, into yourself, not the God or Demon literally, but say, a "essence" of that being of what you desire.

Does that make sense, or should i go into more detail... ?

I have not seen or heard of a black vortex no, but yes, we have some people who are so in tune, with the world, the 4th dimension, it is like a "gift" they were born with, and these people attain in a year, what most people struggle to achieve in a decade, they are spiritually gifted in that sense, but these people normally have severe issues in their lives, because they do not know how to control this power inside their own minds.

I want to ask something but it probably sounds silly, but when i read this i thought about something i do, ive written the number 8 on a piece of paper and kept it in my wallet, have done for a while now, the idea being, that the number 8 is associated with money/good fortune, and your supposed to concentrate the mind as you write the number down, telling yourself this will bring you good fortune, it has, its not alot of money all in one go, but alot of small things/situations arise where cash just seems to pass my way.

Now i know most people will say rubbish, i tried this and it seems to work, my question is did i somehow do what you have written above unknowingly, as i never related it to Magick, more just a bit of fun, and hey if it works then great??

In the simplest terms to put it.

When you invoke gods and demons, you invite part of their essence into your being, these deities have very different vibrational fields than we do, and invoking them, changes your vibrational field, to theirs, if only briefly, they will give you the knowledge you desire, but you, who you are, will begin to change, and your vibrational frequency changes, your mind and thought patterns change, it is all part of the occult, you have to accept change.

What you have done there is called the law of attraction, and i have read many threads about it here on ATS.

You could take a small rock if you wanted, and you could in your mind, associate that rock with good fortune, in whichever form you wish, and you do this every day, you hold that stone in your hand, and you medidate on it, what ever it is you desire, and you keep it with you.

I did this with a smooth rock i found on the beach...a while ago i had a streak of bad luck, my car had gotten broken into 5 times in a year, so i took that stone, and i meditated upon it, and invoked the power and protection of my mind and my gods into that stone, and i made that stone, a stone for protection for my car, i have not been in one accident a few "extremely near accidents" but i managed to just just avoid it, and my car has not been broken in to once, i never take the stone out of my car.

So yes, you are performing magick right there my friend

Most people get exposed to it, these people tend to end up, well something like a dabbler in the occult which is never a good thing.

Then u get those, who have just known, from a very young age, that there is something not quite right about the world, that things are not as people "preachers" and teachers and mothers and fathers say they are..

they realize there is more to this world than meets the eye, and it is those people, who find the true path.

You said you are a High Magi 3rd Degree Occultist.. what have to been able to achieve with this power in the real world that you couldn't achieve otherwise?

Yeah i only just noticed Skyfloating's thread about law of attraction, that seems to be what i did/do.

On topic, have you had any really bad experiences?
