Wow. This is a pretty awesome short video. Bioluminescient creatures giving off their own light sources, Octopi, Squid, and cuttlefish doing some incredible stuff with camouflage and manipulations of their body structures.

Truly remarkable...

It gets me sometimes, the way we arrogantly presume to know "beyond a doubt" that certain cryptids are too strange to possibly exist, when we KNOW of creatures as astonishing as the ones in this video!

Thanks for posting.

Indeed. Even the guy giving the presentation in this video said we know VERY little of what lurks in the deeper recesses of the ocean. And in the rain forests we're CONSTANTLY discovering new, bizarre species.

What was really incredible about this video is the way these creatures can meld right into their immediate surroundings and literally become invisible.

That octopus that was mimicking algae was totally invisible until it got startled enough to change its pigmentation.

It reminds me of something straight out of that movie "Predator"...You could be right next to it and have no idea it was there. haha

Thanks for sharing, it really is amazing to see and does indeed make you consider that if these things can exist in our waters, deep and shallow, and only recently be documented on video properly, what else could be out there?

Perhaps 'out there' is too much an exaggeration, in reality whatever else we don't know about could be a lot closer than we think

Why do the movie call it 'cephalods' when its called 'cephalopods'? O_o

absolutely incredible, thank you for sharing this. Things like this make me truly believe there is some kind of design to everything.
