Damn, 2 million worth of history saved by an excellent pilot. One year of restoration and it will be up an flying again. To me, that is THE most beautiful designed aircraft in the world!!!

I'm assuming he didn't go to idle for some reason or another? My understanding has always been is that if yah can feather or idle the engine to limit damage its always a good idea to do so.
