I realized like this, sometimes politics can be more like Common Sense , in a sense that BARACK "HUSSEIN" OBAMA sounds pretty much like an ARABIC name..and in our quest for using a puppet to Infiltrate THE MIDDLE EASTt to put them at ease for doing business with the U.S.A Corporation as well as sit easy with MINORITIES ( when good ole U.S Government ) decides to start branding ideas such as REAL ID TAGS as well North American Union and The New Currency " The AMERO" - who but a LEADER of the PEOPLE, who is like the people ..now if Obama was a true Leader he would see this SCHEME and Bury it Before it Hatches (which is what a real Hero would try to do) , but i believe with all of these Endorsements and Co-signs he is playing good ole American ball - i'm not really into Politics but i see that the ELECTION has no Bright Future either way the BUSHES will be involved as well as the CLINTONS , HILLARY will probably end up becoming the VP Uniting the Democratic party and leading The DEMOCRATS to a sure win this November in it's plan of WORLDWIDE Democracy -
through all of the Bull# Americans been through..WHY NOT let a BLACK MAN and a WHITE WOMAN give us Belief in our Government again- YES ! They can do it..lets change up the hand a little bit since we keep throwing out the same CARDS..

Unless Mr.Bush and his Minions stage something SPECTACULAR like an ALIEN INVASION or an even more devastating TERRORIST ATTACK where the Election will be Called Off and he will be Declared DICTATOR of The NORTH AMERICAN UNION - sounds like a nightmare huh?
i say get all the sleep you can people..we're in for some sleepless nights

but this is nothing but a Theory and what If that were to take place..remember history repeats itself and remember the Mayan Calendar really ends in 2012 so if anything gonna happen it has to happen now..or is it already happening?

Well yeh..if you want. You could also apply the same to Bush and everything thats been done in the name of Homeland Security - so I take it you aren't going to be voting Repub either for the same reasons?

You got that right: I only vote for those who will obey the Constitutional Oath of Office...If such a candidate in not available, I vote only for "No Confidence."
The reason why I stopped at naming only a few examples is because you're right again: The same point can be made with Bush & the whole Homeland Security mess, as well as making the same point with the other candidates & most of the Officers currently in Government. I have no desire to turn a single post into a mere "list of examples" that could fill the Library of Congress...I've got more important things to do with my time than to write it, and you have more important things to do with your time other than to read it!

However, if you were to look here, you can see how Ron Paul stacks up his immpeccable record of defending the Constitution as compared to the other candidates' proclivities to violate it. I grant that the questions seem biased in favor of Ron Paul, to make his comparison come out as all "yes," but with a bit of intelligent judgment, you can see beyond that bias: No matter which bias you may choose to use on the questions, the obvious conclusion is that (if the answers are truthful to the way the question is asked) Ron Paul has always supported the Constitution & fights against everything that's not Constitutional. So in accordance with the title of this thread & the general theme of the OP, the vast majority of Government Officers & campaigning candidates (with the exception of Ron Paul) consider the Constitution as something to "brush under the carpet."

The main point is that the more intelligent voters will be more likely to vote for the candidates that will support the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land, regardless of what MSM will tell us. MSM, whether intentionally or unknowingly, clouds the actual truth with nonsense: Too many people are distracted away from the basic core truth that would allow us to understand what the government is really supposed to do for us: Instead, they encourage us to base our votes on "he's a nice guy" or "it's about time for a woman President." They even cloud the truth further by using confusing political ideologies. IMHO, there's no room for "politics" in our Constitutional Republic...If Politics really is the "Art of Compromise," you should realize that there's no room in the Constitution that allows itself to be "compromised" by politics! The Constitution does allow for Natural Change (by the procedure of Amendments) when necessary but even then, the "spirit" of the Constitution & all Civil Rights must be upheld.

In essence, the Constitution was "divinely inspired" (if you care to use that term) to be capable of governing a large population in accordance with the Laws of Nature as set forth by the Creator...This is its primary goal. Basically, the Bill of Rights represents the same Rights that every creature on this planet can exercise: For example, the 2nd Amendment provides for a means of defense against the extinction of life...The antelope has speed as its defense against the claws of the lion, the turtle has its shell as defense, birds have their wings to fly away, etc. In turn, the Second Amendment defines for us our defense against violent people (& oppressive government!), because we don't have the lion's claws or the antelope's speed, the turtle's shell...But we do have our knowledge & intelligence to create artificial defenses (ie: guns) for our survival against a quick & violent extinction.

The Bill of Rights describes what the Laws of Nature provide for us: The main body of the Constitution describes how the Government should govern the People within the frame of our Rights, while it also defines the limitations of Government so as to not violate those Rights. Therefore, when Government Officers strictly adhere to the Constitution, the nation (as a whole) can live within the Laws of Nature & the government will support those laws on a national level & arbitrate disputes between individuals...All within the order of Natural Law. But when the Government violates the Natural Laws, only slavery & oppression (if not death & destruction) results. Yep, the Constitution is a work of sheer genius!

I can't agree with this overall concept...Why? Look at the way the Constitution was written. In the preamble, the most prominent words are "We the People..." This means that it's the People who establish government...The People are the Boss, the Government is the employee & the Constitution itself is the "contract of employment."

Some of the candidates are talking about "real leadership" as part of their platform...These people are the kind that must not occupy any Government Office! The Government isn't supposed to be run by "leaders," it's supposed to be managed by "servants of the Public." The Government is not the place for Leaders or Rulers, but the place for Civil Servants!

The Constitution itself even includes a legally-binding Oath/Affirmation (Article 2, Section 1, Clause 9 & Article 6, Clause 3) for all Officers of all three Branches at the State & Federal levels to uphold the "contract of employment." Every violation of any/all terms within the Constitution (including Natural Laws that are derived from the Constitution) is a Breech of Oath to the Constitution & the People that established it as the Supreme Law of the Land...If not treason, such violations are (at the very least) Felony Offenses. Anyone who occupies any Government Office & who professes to support a "Democracy" is already in violation of their Oath...Check out Article 4, Section 4.

In effect, when Government Officers violate their Constitutional Oaths, the honor, integrity & obligation to live under Rule of Law of the entire nation & all of its People has been "swept under the carpet!"

First post, after reading for a while, and its struck me that the US elections have bought up an issue that is deeply disturbing, because - god forbid - one of the candidates is black, and his middle name is Hussein (which apparently means he might be a muslim!)

Imagine that. In a country where anyone who is a natural citizen can become president, the color of their skin and their middle name (and crass assumptions about it's origions) is an issue.

Which makes me wonder if the upcoming election is going to be decided on politics or on predjudices.

Did the US really swallow so much of its own propaganda that simply having a name similar to Saddam Hussein is enough to stop someone voting for the guy? Or did people just become so fickle that they feel they need to make an issue of it?

So is it politics or predjudice you're gonna vote on? Or are you going to try and thinly disguise one with the other?

And when it boils down to it, will the next president of the USA be decided mainly on the color of their skin? Are we really more enlightened these days, or are we just brushing the issue under the carpet and hoping it goes away?

A America where your fellow man does not judge you for the way you were born, how about a world where your fellow man is not judged by the way he was born and raised, that would be great.

Yes its obvious that there is a large chunk of republicans not voting for Obama on the bases of his ethnicity, religion or ancestry but I believe there are more republicans not voting for him on this matter of "his a liberal, socialist, communist" than anything else. As for this "Hussein" thing it just further highlights the ignorance still strong and alive in small town rural America and to some extent urban America. I blame the education system and to some extent the media where people are not being taught enough about the diversity of human race, culturally and racially. Nothing is "black and white", well at least not as it is mostly portrayed, there are Christians with Arabic names, black Jews, modern infrastructure in some parts of Africa etc... It’s just a matter of educating people. I do understand why some people think this way, after 9/11 there is still this fear and anger towards those who are different to the average middle or southern American, sad but true, and some people are going to vote in light of this.

I can tell you now that Obama supporters can be just as bad, I’m not afraid to admit it. Just like some republicans use fear mongering to exploit the ignorance of middle and southern small town America, liberals play the race card in the most. I don’t like the fact that all republicans are being tied to Bush because that’s simply not true and this attitude of "I hate Americans because they are causing trouble in the world" from foreign liberals.

Its unfortunate ignorance is still prevalent in 2008.

How about a really grown-up America electing the first female and black president all in one?

As the Green Party candidate, Cynthia McKinney is either pilloried or ignored by the corporate media. A black female presidential candidate might be newsworthy but not if she's running on an environmental ticket. Who cares about the environment these days? Besides, if she was elected it would only bring up a lot of nastiness about 9/11.

America wants change?

OK, I have alot to say but I will keep it short.

OBAMA IS RELATED TO CHENEY. and BUSH and most likely all the other ole boys in office currently. Dont believe me? remember, GOOGLE is a powerful tool used by and against us.

Now, out of the millions of blacks or so called blacks the ONE who actually gets far in a political arena in america isn't black at all. Or muslim at all. Or nothing that he seems. The hype surrounding the entire PROCESS is and has been some b.s. since it began in the 1700s. Lets see:
2000- Bush vs. Gore (Both illuminati- blood buddies)
2004- Bush vs. Kerry ( Both yale grads one year apart, both OPENLY admit to being skull and crossbones you tube for that)
2008- McCain vs. Obama Vs. Hilary - All related- its a joke people.

When will those reading, those listening, anyone out there in cyberspace FINALLY see that any person, president or not who does not immediately take office and proclaim that the United States, our wonderful and beautiful land, is being controlled and overrun by tyrants and a much deeper conspiracy to control the masses of humans is not FOR US. Listen, I am a 26 year old black man. Probably one of the few out there smart enough to provide and prove any of this shi#t to anyone- and I ask YOU white readers- where has true patroitism gone.

Who cares if Obama (and yes the name is all part of the ploy) or Whoever wins, what happened to the spirit that enslaved my ancestors and made this country great? Cuz' trust me- NO "BLACK" MAN WOULD EVER GET THIS FAR IF SOMEONE VERY VERY POWERFUL DIDNT WANT HIM TO!

I'm thinking a blue skinned man running for president is where we should draw the line.

I still don't understand why the fact that Obama is black is more of an issue than a woman running for president. She could possibly be a lesbian too.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that Cynthia McKinney is an opportunistic wack job. When Georgia caught on to her B.S. ways, she had to take her dog and pony show to San Francisco. The woman is a politcal vampire.

yes i know this and i also know that the blinded will say it doesnt mean anything,,,

Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld have been hanging around the Whitehouse since the Nixon day's and have been influencing Presidential policy's for way too long now imo.

and yes it is very sad to know that no matter who is 'given' the Presidency , Mr. Cheney will probably continue to do what he has been doing behind the scenes or if appointed to a cabinet position.

When will those reading, those listening, anyone out there in cyberspace FINALLY see that any person, president or not who does not immediately take office and proclaim that the United States, our wonderful and beautiful land, is being controlled and overrun by tyrants

i am like you and i am totally disgusted with the same garbage every election year and i wonder the same thing you do....when will the American people take back America ?

it's long overdue and it is gonna take about a couple million of us[all races] walking thru Washington and physically removing these crooks if you ask me...

Who cares if Obama (and yes the name is all part of the ploy) or Whoever wins, what happened to the spirit that enslaved my ancestors and made this country great?

the spirit is still alive and that's why i voted for Ron Paul in the Primary's but the MSM made sure he didnt get the coverage he needed or deserved.

i dont know if Ron Paul was our last chance though because it seems you must be part of the game to be in the game ?

NO "BLACK" MAN WOULD EVER GET THIS FAR IF SOMEONE VERY VERY POWERFUL DIDNT WANT HIM TO!

that's why having Cheney as a cousin and Kennedy endorsing you... would be the ultimate trump card if you ask me.

because of the above reasons i fear that Obama's 'hope and change' platform is just to make you think you have a choice and it will be nothing more than the continuation of the same crap we've been getting.

i believe the Obama race issues are all part of the plan to make you think you have choice...when in reality the election is decided by the delegates and how good the voting machines are rigged.

edit to add...Obama voted for the Patriot act and is just as guilty as the rest of them in taking away our privacy and right's and proves that he is part of the schrade.

I think you should take more salt with that Corporate media you're consuming.
Cynthia McKinney is no angel but she's more of a vampire slayer in my book, fighting valiantly against monstrous Big Government and paying the price.

If she's a vampire, the Corporate promoted alternatives are cannibals - they'll hold the world to ransom while they continue to ingest the American people whole.

Well, I was an Edwards supporter, but now I'm not sure who I will vote for. If it's Obama v. McCain, I will definitely vote for Obama. However, I will not feel very good about that vote. Not because I dislike him as a person or because of his race, but because I see very little tangible evidence supporting any of his plans. He is very good at rallying people, but that is not enough to convince this inquiring mind that he has the kinds of plans that will do anything any differently. I'm no fan of Hillary, but at least she has a plan.

There is a choice of vote beyond the specific names on a ballot..."No Confidence" is the way to go if no one on the ticket satisfies your choice. Another point to consider is that, if you're one of the many who are concerned about the reliability of the electronic voting machines, you can always request an Absentee Ballot ahead of time (& also allows you to write in a name that isn't on the ballot)...That way, your vote will be committed on paper & more easily confirmed.

Yes, indeed she does. May I ask you a question, would you vote for her if she were the candidate?

As far as this issue being swept under the carpet, I think it has been hung out to air, beaten with a broom and left for dead. I don't want to have a president that I'm afraid to criticize because I will be called racist. I didn't consider myself racist when this primary began, but after being accused of it simply because I've supported Hillary makes me reconsider how I really feel. I'm not sure yet, I'll let the world know when I figure it out.

I am no fan of Obama's and after the way the media has salivated all over him for months on end I feel that they are simply reading the script handed to them by the corporations who own our media and work for the 'real' behind the scenes powers-that-be. I have little doubt that he is the chosen one and whatever means it takes to get him in that White House will transpire. Our votes don't really count here in America; we all know that.

I will cast my one meaningless vote for McCain. The first time in my adult life I will have voted Republican only as a protest of the media, the DNC, and vicious Obama supporters I have encountered elsewhere online.
