Well, it all depends on what kind of style you're looking for Thelma...know what I mean? Can't wear the wrong tin-foil hat with the wrong just wouldn't look right. Let me look, I'll see what I can find

Look what I found
That should get you started, if not we can always take to making our own unique tinfoil hats

This one is a classic look...don't you think?

This one here is fit for a queen! Take a gander at that

This one here kind of looks like cow udders...might work well down on the farm?

This one is Perfect for a Sunday ride in the black leather gear! Wow

How about a Midnight ride? "The British are coming ...the British are coming!"

Great I need one for my avatar and one for me.

Betty likes pink- is here such a thing as pink foil?

I'll be happy with the regular.

In fact, i call for every avatar on this website to get ready with the foil hat.

We're going to need it.

Most excellent thread, dg. Perhaps, perhaps, a different hat for different types of energy waves, to deflect, like, my neighbor's microwave oven energy...or the police dog that can read my advice is to keep several styles on hand...

Jen, I made a hat for my cat, after seeing the one you posted.

My personal favorite is one I made that looks like the feed bucket hat that Ricky and Fred had made for Lucy and Ethel in Paris. You remember that one, the one that went with the burlap sack dresses, the outfits the girls thought were designer clothes.

Oh, I also keep a can of
handy in my purse to tie on my head, in case of emergency. Sometimes I put it on when I'm in the checkout line at the grocery store, when I think the person behind me is getting a little too close, ya know what I mean.

A can of
??? That's an excellent idea desert. And for those people with a big of these

We've been waiting for ya!

Well, that's a great idea, in a pinch.

I hadnt thought about it. And i do remember Lucy's feed bag hat

those were the days! lol: One like that would be tres chic.

So, will you join us in our call for everyone to wear a tin hat? Really, i dont see any other solution.

They are going to get us and i think we should be protected.

Look forward to seeing hats!!!!!

Gee, I dunno, dg; I have always favored the traditional "pointy-head" model...

This pic has also served as my avatar at times of extreme defense and protection from ** whispers** "you-know-who"!!

Feel free to use it as a template for your own personal foil chappeau, if you like; as you can see it goes well with pastels and primary colors.

A thought came to my mind a few seconds ago. I'd buy one of those pyramid hats made out of copper and layer that with some aluminum. [ooohhhmmm]

I mustn't divulge too much, however, and I may get disciplined for this. Make sure the shiny side is out. Please keep this secret. I have been sworn by punishment of vast cruelties.

This is an extremey serious thread:

Look at this and there's plenty more where this came from:

Abstract: Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance.
Many computer monitors and TV tubes, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation. It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be embedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal. The image displayed on a computer monitor may be pulsed effectively by a simple computer program.
For certain monitors, pulsed electromagnetic fields capable of exciting sensory resonances in nearby subjects may be generated even as the displayed images are pulsed with subliminal intensity. USP # 6,488,617 (December 3, 2002)

You see? there are many other patents- this is real.

You're correct! That makes sense because the dull side is less reflective and thereby those energy waves should bounce right off of the more reflective side much better. That's what I do with my cooking in the oven -- turn the shiny side of the foil towards the food.
