I think twiggz has come the closest to nailing it. It seems the whole UFO, aliens, close encounters thing is only part of the bigger picture of the unexplained; not the entirety. I'd like to believe the recently heightened media attention is the forerunner of a real, first ever Breakthrough, but I can't be sure. It seems no one, or effectively no one, is able to exceed their programming. Those who are ignorant of what's happening aren't going to be swayed unless the Real Deal comes along. And "God" only knows the extent to which they'll freak out when the truth comes out, though I refuse to be afraid of them regardless of what extremes they go to (up to and including nukes)... I believe a certain percentage of them are in denial due to secret reasons. Those are the ones who know damn well what's going on, at least in general terms, but won't admit to it due to fear. The National Security state, at least in American terms, is their real God (in terms of it being only actions and never words or beliefs that speak).

Speaking of fear, I think the OP's name (The Coward) is a great misnomer. He or she is definitely of the fearless truthseeker persuasion. It's the status quo stalwarts who are the real cowards.

In my opinion they (World Leaders) are secretly asking us what we think of them (Aliens,UFO's) because I feel that this might tie into the whole New World Order concept and Zion 2012 and the London Olympics; also 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the mock ufo "communicating" with the audience and eventually "landing", my point being is I think they want to find out how freaked out people might actually become if we, globally were to be invaded/attacked by beings from our universe. I also think that they might eventually use all of this as a tactic to "unite" everyone on a global scale and promote their "one world government? What do you think?

RudeAwakening, I believe people are too used to being of their own specific country to ever have a one world government. The idea doesn't have enough popular support in any given nation, so how could only one single government for the entire planet ever become reality? Even the most malevolent dictatorship (as the US is most insanely trying to become) can't make that happen. And any "ETs" worth getting to know, if ever possible, would agree... IMO.

I agree with the thread starter. More and more media coverage on UFO's & ET in general, Britan releasing it's reports, more military & pilot /air traffic control personell stating their accounts, the vatican, etc.
Hope to see full disclosure soon.

I've felt for some time now that we are living in the exciting era of gradual disclosure. In fact i was talking about this at work today and people still do not appreciate what is happening until i explained things and now people are more open to the idea . I think there is still alot of ignorance out there but people are not afraid to discuss the subject now without being laughed off as "not quite all there" and other snide remarks. I like to be prepared and i think out of the people at my workplace i will be one of the few who will be up to speed on things if full disclosure comes about and an announcement is made. For better or worse depending on how friendly the ailens are !!

Why disclosure?
I guess if I could ask one question- It would be, why reveal the truth?
Not something like "Why now?", but why reveal anything at all?
If there's really a "One world government" sneaking around out there, the NWO- Why bother revealing the "Truth" about E.T's? What purpose does that honestly serve?
Especially if you're easing the population into this as a truth?

For as long as I can remember having an interest in UFO's or the possibility of life somewhere out there- I've heard that disclosure is nigh.
It's been nigh for years, and it seems that we're no longer taking "Steps" rather than crawling.

I would love to see disclosure happen.
I've probably got sixty years ahead of me- But, I don't honestly believe in that time alien life will be revealed, much less that it's visited us.

awesome answer! I totally agree with Jester! We have been gradually introduced to the idea of extra terrestrial life. It was just a matter of time before the government could tell everyone. It would probably of caused global panic or religious views to change.

Even though there is no solid proof for ET i think it is best to condition us just in case. We have to be prepared to accept it just in case we are wrong.

In the picture at the bottom and smack bang in the centre is a human skull, it is so clear you cant miss it.

Why reveal the "truth"? how about why reveal a lie.... they would like to have an external threat that supposedly will threaten the whole world.. therefore forcing all government to get together"temporarily" using the U.N as a way to get this done... There are Aliens but they will fabricate a lie for there own means.. and they have the technology to stage the "show" so that the whole world will fall for it.
