Warren Buffet endorses Obama

news.yahoo.com...

FRANKFURT (AFP) - Warren Buffett, the world's richest man, is backing Barak Obama for US president and thinks current US economic policy will push the dollar lower against other global currencies

"He is my choice," Buffett said.

Well considering Warren buffet is about as status quo as you can get... one would think that his endorsement would put an end to the right wing rant that Obama is a socialist or somehow a threat to this country...

... but somehow I doubt it.

Interesting. It's nice to know that conservative overhype of ideological stances is just a smear tactic and nothing more. Obama will probably try and play to the centre in the general election (not that he needs to with how conservative the republicans are nowadays) and while in his first term in office, if he gets elected. US needs some balance. When's the last time a Democratic second term president had both houses?
