Huge Coincidence

okay so i dono if this is the place to post this but it seemed a goo enough as any.....
okay this might sound a bit odd to you, it surly is to me, but its freaking me out so much i need your help or opinions.

okay so it all started a few years ago, little things were happening like i would be able to guess what people were gonna say an that kinda thing like most people can, but it started d to get more frequent.
then would be walking down the street an somthin would pop in my head, an it would happen or i would run into that person, who i might not have seen for AGES..
then it got more wire i can tell what people are gonna Say before they o, big sentences an stuff, an can tell what they was gonna o too.

i can be at work i can tell when the phone will ring, what the next songs will be on the radio, i can even tell when some one will sneeze...
this happens way to much now
things can happen like 4 - 5 times a day an it freaks me out now...
some times it plays threw my head what will happen, an it does, or if i dont change somthin a certain thing will happen, an it does...

the other day i ha a ream that a plane was gonna crash, an then a few ways later a plane crashed... then later on i ha a dream there was gonna be a volcano erupting an then a volcano eruption....

i ha a dream that the Taliban or Alkaid what ever you call them were gonna attack this important place an then a few days letter it happen

an them TOTALY freaked me out....

the other day i was at work an i was talk in to my friend about weather he though ' min readin' or 'predicting' was possible...anyways it ended up trying to guess what each other was thinking , certain wire things came into my head an i said it an they ended up being right, he was freaked out an was.....
things like this have been happening since i as about 10ish, i remember going on holiday an talking about stats an that kinda stuff then a day later it was in the news appears about that exact same thing....an gain i was talking about crop circles an the day after a huge ass crop circle ha been mad over night an was in all the papers, that was wired too.....
i wanna know what you guys think cos it is totally freaking me out, its happening more a more each day now
help me?

There are no huge ass coincidences and small ass coincidences, just coincidences.

call the bank. tell them to set up an account. Move stock trade funds to the account. Set up with schwab online. Sit wait and concentrate.......

I don't rule out precognition. I've experienced similar events.

You might try keeping a journal or a diary and writing these advanced warnings in it. It might prove helpful when these events occur.

I do that all the time with the radio . . . even my mp3 player. I can't do it with my computer yet, though. I know what song is going to come on next, even though it is usually a two seconds or less before the song starts playing. It still freaks out my kids

I usually know what my wife is going to say, and I can have arguments with myself saying what I am going to say, then responding with what she will say. She does not like that much, but I think it is just because I beat her to the punch in the arguments.

She still wins 99.9% of the time, though . . . strangely enough.

But seriously, the only advice I can give you, if in fact you are telling the truth and you are for some reason awakening these "powers", please don't be freaked out by them.

If you are a teenager, then maybe you are going through puberty and this has caused a chemical reaction in your brain which has "set off" your gift.

..... Then again..... maybe I have seen X-Men too many times....

Interesting to see you mentioned these 'events' in dreams, as I have experienced EXACTLY the same thing in the past, amongst quite alot of other paranormal occurances.

There is no real logical explanation for it, you just have to trust what you believe. I personally believe that it is a gift, and that we should be grateful for it.

I think somebody on here said to me to keep a journal of these dreams and such like, one day a answer may come to you and you can easily reference it, or study the occurances and you may notice patters etc.


Whatever you do though dont listen to anybody that says you are 'crazy' or overimaginative, they are usually too ignorant to open their minds or probably jealous that they dont have a gift of their own!

This is really cool and no offense but I hate it when people say 'this freaked me out' because I'd be partying if this was happening to me.

If you think those are "coincidences", we have a thread called "Extraordinary coincidences" that you might enjoy.

But they don't seem like "coincidences" to me.

I don't think i've ever met someone in real life that could do this but i certainly believe it's not just a coincidence. rather far from it. Sometimes i will have what seems to be a 5 minute dream of something weird, and than a month later after i've forgotten the dream, it'll play out. The first 30 seconds are pure deja vu, the next minute is puzzled and the rest of it is more deja vu. I love it. Doesn't happen often though, i don't remember my dreams.

I think you should move past fear and move onto embracing your talents and "practice" them as much as possible. You'll get more in tune with it and hopefully develop your skills further!!

There is one thing, (IMO) that no one has mentioned, and is a proven fact.
It´s called "synchronicity".
Again, I may be wrong, but many coincidences IE thinking the phone is going to ring and it does, knowing what a person is going to say before they do, knowing what will happen before it does etc, are synchronistic events.

Actually, synchronicity is my preferred term in normal communication. :-)
(That's why I relentlessly use quotation marks when I MUST use the other term, the C- word... )

Well with a name like Lance Damien one would think you are a "he."

Just out of curiosity is English your second language (in which case I won't flame you too much for the lack of capitalization and such) or are you of that young generation of current teenagers that types everything in "txt tlk" (in which case I will).

But on to the subject at hand... I do not believe in coincidences. I think if you are experiencing something you are meant to experience it, and that the universe sends us signs all the time. I do suggest like someone above me did that you keep a journal with dates and premonitions and as many details as you can remember.

if these coincidences are really happening then you are scheduled to do something. it may not seem important at the time, or even significant. Deja vue may explain alot of it. I have two or three second experiences, like short videos in my life that are replays ( i like calling them do-overs) it is very difficult to act different than what you have seen before or know whats going to happen. I am often frozen by the events and dialogue and can't change the outcome. I have changed it a few times and I get very sick and nauseous but the change is seemingly unimportant. don't take personal advantage of what your experiencing it could destroy u. accept it, don;t fight it and good luck

Can you predict every song and everything everyone is going to say to you? If not, then maybe you're just focussing on the "hits" and ignoring the "misses", which will completely skew your perception of your abilities. Heck, if you aren't consistent, your "gift" isn't useful in the slightest, as only with recurring accuracy could it be of any use.

Thanks for the link , nice thread. The question I have always had about synchronistic events is, do we cause the event? Or are we somehow glimpsing the event at a subconscious level a fraction before it happens?
