Looking at craigslist site, there is a section called casual encounters. Now this section is nothing more a place for people to post they want sex
and for you to e-mail them back. I never have responded to one of these, but once they e-mail you back and ask for a fee it's totally covert.
On there site they publicize how they get more traffic than monster.com and careerbuilder.com. But, they are just not a job board and can't really
put themselves into that category because alot of people get on to buy/sell stuff locally since it's free.
Could this be a tool to drive traffic in efforts to SELL.
Ebay owns 25 percent of craigslist.
Craigslist Report
Why would craigslist openly allow open calls for sex while at the same time offering professional jobs and daycare services?
It's also been reported that underage prostitution is heavy on craigslist. So why haven't anyone cracked down on the casual encounters section.
Underage Prostitutes
Could it be that the site owner wants to cater to all genres, get the most traffic, and then cash out?
