Coming up on Rendlesham 1980, oooh, the temperature's dropped.

It's nightime here, Ripley's has a infra-red light torch and she's
checking the place out (probably lookin' for men in uniform).

Newt's unpacking the 'stealth' shields! apparently, it's to
hide the van using black shiny walls that soaks in light.
Ramius swears by it... well, he swears like a trooper
(another thing Ripley looks out for!)

It's dark and there's conifers all around us. Vasili' asking
if he can get a tie that resembles a keyboard? must be an
eighties thing.

There's torches off to the left, that's probably the soldiers
lookin' for the UFO, woooah! a lighthouse has just flashed
into my eyes.... it's eerie here.

I can see a uniformed guy with a dictophone (why can't he use
his finger like everyone else?) and he's muttering something.
We're aborting the mission and getting outa here... they've got
guns.
Brrrrr, I think we should try somewhere warmer.
Punch it Bishop.

Ms. Green, I'm sorry if it seems we're hijacking your
post, but we're not. Grays frighten Newt and Vance,
because of what they did to Vance and of course, Newt's
just a kid and has the capacity of imagination.

I have not, if it bleeds, I can kill it.

The Bo-Peep dress that Vance wears came about through
an incident that involved him creating a costume for his wife's
school reunion.
There were some problems and that's where we met.
His manliness has never been in qusetion and he's a 'dab-hand'
with a needle and thread.
But the event on the Mothership has left him scarred.
Sorry, I'm babbling, it's quiet here in the loop-thing. Time-travel
isn't as sexy as it looks in the movies, it's just grey and brown
streaks most of the time.

And this GRAY, who what when fear? you American? just like you fear of Red Communism? You have been brainwashed severely by your government. Pay your tax MORE right on time!!!!!!!!

I am not American I am British and I really dont fear a colour as such. I like the way you say Green is go and be free
I want to go and be free but people whont let me. I always have to do this thing or that thing, if I could just go and be free like my name Green Id be happy.

Why are the reptilians the final last threat? Maybe none of these aliens are a threat and we've been as you say brainwashed into thinking they are, brainwashed to be scared.

Am I scared because Ive been brainwashed into thinking this way? I hate this system I wish to break free from it now. Yer pay my tax right now or else. Do Grays pay tax? No probably not.

Vasili loves retro-stuff, he has two-tone loons from the seventies
and a afghan coat that stinks of pot!!
I've been googling while we're traveling... what the hell's a Chav?
I vaguely remember kids hangin' around damp cobble-stoned
streets and I think... a while ago, I actually got to the outer wall
of London and saw the barren wastelands of the rest of Britain.

Does everyone live in London or is it just that the BBC website
a little short-sighted?

Is this thread just rambling off into the wilderness? I think so.

Please, let's all return to the subject. Maybe go back and reread the OP and the first page.

It could also be that Grays represent the dull, worker-bee
attitudes to our lives. The sullen, vacant looks and the
robotic-way we aquire the usual crap we need to feel
the same as everyone else.

The sallow skin color can represent an unknown, we
may struggle to see any mercy in those large doll-like
eyes.

Phew! nearly there, Maybe this site is about hopes
and aspirations for the future and those hopes manifest
themselves in many ways.

What do you think Miss Green?

It's funny as I had a dream that 3 ET's came in through my window and tried to take me from my bed at night. I picked one up from the back of the neck and threw the other two out of the window. I ran down stairs with the 5 footish et to take a picture of him, however he was invisible to everyone else in the house.

Only I could see him. It made me think of this thread, so I thought I would share this with you guys.

Yes as the OP I must agree although this is highly entertaining you must try and stick to the matter in hand and tell us if you too are scared of the Grays. 80's ties and chicken in ice creams as far as I can see are not related. You seem to be very good with words so maybe you can put a few words together regarding what you actually feel about them. I must say I started this thread really frightened of them but now I am not. I think this is because there has been such a wide discussion on these creatures that I can now see them as more than droids and possibly things that have a purpose.

Notice I speak of them as real, because to me they are real it is no longer a question of if they exist but why they exist. I know many sceptics will say they are in our minds but I think not, they are one of the greatest secrets kept from us today.

You threw an ET out of your window? Are you sure? Sometimes they appear as a shimmer to others like they are moving in and out of our dimension is this how the others in the house saw them as invisible?

Truly, in my shape (strung-out) I can't give a you a
definite answer about these things. Maybe they're a
symbol our mind creates to avoid a reality of some
terrible situation we find ourselves.
Maybe the skinny-assed things are sneakin' around
and doin' their doo, with total disregard for our cash-
chasing, real world-unaware politicians.

Maybe all of this is escapism... a world where Faires
and monsters gambol and frolic in our minds and where
we can be the hunter, and find that our childhood doesn't
have to be left behind.

We may feel alone, God may not play a big part in
our lives and we may be searching for a new discipline.
The idea that we're all together in one cause can also be
a want.
Just some thoughts as we show the Mod we're norm...
Vasili.....No, No Noooooo! no not out on the ledge.

Well, then, you've done your job. Go home and sleep well tonight.
Do you really wanna get him? You see what I'm saying is, what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way because they're not gonna give up the fight until one of you is dead.

You just fulfilled the first rule of Moderation: make sure when your shift is over you go home alive. Here endeth the lesson.

Hi Ms Green. having had ET contact with these Greys (my subgroup calls itself by a certain name by the way) I am prepared to believe your words. I also live in England and have spoken to many in this country with very similiar accounts to your own. Getting around the fear element of an encounter can take a long time on your own. It is an unsettling experience not helped by the fact that so many dismiss it as fantasy. If its any help to you then be assured that I take you seriously.

Love from Circle

I've heard of such groups that claim they have
an 'in' when it comes to aliens (Heck, have you
read 'Stargates are Real'?)

Close the door McFly and...

Thanks Sir!!

You say you have had actual contact? I certainly don't
mean to undermine Ms Green's thread, but could you
elaborate?
