China quake victims flee 'flood'

There has been panic in the quake-hit Chinese city of Beichuan after a river nearby burst its bank sparking reports it could flood the entire city.

The whole city has been evacuated, forcing the suspension of all rescue efforts, our correspondent says.

Just when you thought things could not get any worse..

I feel frustrated that I am not in a good enough financial position to be able to go and offer my 2 hands and able body to help as many victims as I can in China and in Burma.

These are surely strange times we are living in.

I seriously hope that no living and trapped victims of the quake are caught out by the flood. that would be a serious knock to any hopes of survival those left alive may have. I can only feel sadness in my heart for them, yet I send out my thoughts and offer my spiritual strength to them all, wherever and however they are suffering.

Peace to you all, in one manner or another.
