UFO Busters

Since ATS is a very large forum, I invite all ATS members to post the conclusion of all UFO cases inside ATS (or outside even), for easy access.

Just like Mythbusters the conclusion can be busted, plausible, confirmed (although I don't think this one would be used ). And I also want to add another option which is ongoing, for cases that you consider important and deserve special attention.

The thread obviously will be leaning toward busted, and please provide the explanation and the link for the case.

What criteria would you be using to declare a sighting or case busted, plausible, or confirmed?

Leaning towards busted suggests an inherit bias. What is needed is on objective outlook, one that is leaning towards neither busted nor confirmed.

That would be nice, but last night i had one of those alien invasion type dreams whereby goliath-sized space vehicles (the type the military haven't built) were passing over our cities.

The space vehicle's under-array was made up of several hundred lights in the colours of red, yellow, blue and green - and each one of these lights was capable of launching an energy attack capable of destroying a single building with relative ease - the actual assault i witnessed (in my dream) was localised, so i'm thinking perhaps those lights are also sensors of some kind, to be used for detecting dangerous weapons.

I also dreamt of how human society - those of us who are not in the military and possess no civil function, would deal with that type of invasion.

Less panic than one would think, believe it or not.

Anwho, JazzyGuy; It's probably best if you use this thread as a prototype, because at least that way people will have some idea of how this is going to work out.

Not me, us. The thread will lean toward the obvious busted case, just like the example. This isn't about determining which case is busted or not. Discussion about the case should be in the corresponding thread and not here. This is about posting that has already been confirmed as busted and some plausible cases.

Of course the case will be updated if the conclusion changes due to new findings or other circumstances. And if the case is important but hasn't reached any conclusion, the status should be 'Ongoing'.

Are you going to open a thread about that dream of yours?
Actually this is a prototype. If it works, a mod eventually will have to take over.

Nah mate, a dreams a dream - if it actually has any relevance then it's in the place where it's needed most; in my mind.

I just felt like writing down what i remembered somewhere, to keep it fresh in my head.

Good work on the prototype btw.
