Honestly, I am seriously confused by this whole thing...are you confused by what you saw? Do you question it? Are you looking for validation of what you saw/think you saw?

Several years ago, I was the passenger in a car driving over one of the bridges in DC at night and over/around the Washington Monument's obelisk figure was a hazy greenish unnatural light with two very bright green rectangle lights over the tip of it. The whole visable had a hazy greenish/brown tone to it.

I was in awe of the whole experiance at the time...Then we drove on and everything was done and that was sort of it for me..the driver saw nothing unusual but I know what I saw and I am comfortable with it regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Knowing that it was not of this earth or that we are alone in this life, was never something I questioned. I never understood the idea that with the vastness of the universe that only this planet could sustain life, but 1,000,000,000s of different types was absurd at best. Thank God, the Catholic Church finally agrees with me..

I guess what I am confused about is if you are comfortable with what you saw/experianced? You seem to be searching for some validation that it is ok what you saw? I mean if you saw it, then you saw it; you experianced it then it is completely valid experiance.

Cheers for that. I mentioned it being a shadow, mainly to like i say, eliminate the obvious.

However i can easily see by your descriptions that this was a lot more. Sorry about that, but i guess the next person who thinks it could have been a shadow, won't have to ask now.

That said, shadows in the paranormal world are a whole different subject itself, and have been seen in many different forms.

In one of my previous experiences which i described on the paranormal section of ATS once, i explained how i saw the shadow of a guy run across a road in front of me. It was a solid shadow as far as i could tell, but no body accompanied it.

So even shadows can come in different shapes and forms. On this occasion, i think we'll deduce that it was'nt a shadow and i'll shut up.

It just seems like the music has a big part in Robs sighting.... majority of it occurred while the track was playing!

As with quite a few of my fellow ATSers here I too am most interested in this "Black Light"

from what you and your friends have kindly explained I understand it to have only appeared in the room for a split second and not to have crept through the room ala the Abyss water creature.
What i was wondering did the Black Light leave an after image like in a camera flash? or did it just suddenly pop in and then out without any after effect (except a bunch of gob smacked buddies left behind)?

I think it's great you've decided to publicly post here on ATS... I can only hope that other high profile people who currently post anonymously would do the same, as it can only bring more credibility to whats going on in our skies.

I believe that your sightings were genuine, I have experienced strange phenomena myself... I know how it changes a persons way of thinking and any previous doubts are replaced by questions.

I hope you get some answers here.
