Global Poverty Act S.2433
www.nationalledger.com
It's called the Global Poverty Act (S.2433), and it is being sponsored by none other than Senator Barack Obama.
According to some conservative sources, this disastrous legislation could eventually force U.S. taxpayers to fork over as much as 0.7 percent of the
nation's Gross Domestic Product -- or $845,000,000,000.00 -- on welfare to third-world countries.

Thank you Senator Obama, just what we need a global tax on the US to fund UN BS. If 845.00 got to those that needed it, I will be surprised. This is
just one of the NEW taxes being considered for US taxpayers to be fleeced with. Vote Democratic and this is what they have in store for us.

Sounds good to me. I'll gladly pay to help the brown people rather than bombing them.

doesn't it s--- you when your leaders are handing out bucket loads of money to other countries when your own country is in dire need of those same
funds? That is as good as treason!

Ever hear of the fact that middle class America is tired of being raped and that those of us who work for a living have a right to keep what we
earn?
Obama = Jimmy Carter II
Typical Marxist 'share the wealth' by raping the working class.
Go knock on OPECs door to get the $$$ to fund Obama's 'true homeland' of Africa. Leave us and our money alone.

Did you really expect this socialist senator to view middle class America as anything other than an exploitable resource, taxing the hell out of us
and forcing us down to the same level as the lower class? Please!

I will agree........the U.S. has a debt in the trillions. How can Senator Obama's introduction of this act help all Americans.
On another thread it was said Senator Obama was for lowering taxes for Americans.......and when does that happen!?
The United States is multi-racial and the first lesson anyone from any country should learn is to take care of ones own needs first and then you can
reach out to others more needy.
America declared it's independence only over 200 years ago. Are we perfect by any means, absolute not. But, as Americans shouldn't we feel good
about ourselves for what has been accomplished in those years or maybe I just don't get it.

And yet US citizens don't seem to mind paying TRILLIONS to fund a fake war which was designed and enacted to line the pockets of the few.
It's time to face reality - you can't afford your military adventures, either in monetary, manpower or PR terms.
It's just not working.

That's damn generous of him to send even more American dollars overseas at a time when we have a lot of people here who can't afford to stay in
their homes or feed their kids.
And just when I thought the Dems couldn't do any worse than John Kerry...
At this point, I'd probably vote for Hillary before I'd vote for Obama, and the odds that I'd vote for Hillary are just a little higher than
0.0%.

Hi Budski,
Sounds like you have a gripe towards Americans!?!?
Why is that?
If you don't like Americans so much, then start a thread of your own where others members can bad-mouth Americans and then I can come on and let you
know that what you have said is "talk to hand." (in one ear and out the other)

Not at all - just the administration for pulling the wool over peoples eyes.
BTW - you have no business telling me what to post or where to post it.
If you think I'm out of line, use the complaint function.
Other than that, you're not the boss of the board or anyone on it, and I'll post what and where I please.
What I said is perfectly reasonable and rational - stop spending on war, start looking after the citizens who pay the taxes.

I believe in "Voluntary Socialism", but this would be in way voluntary.
This is an outrage, we're spending a ton of money on a pointless, futile war which has it's origins in lies and fakery. So now we are going to dump
845 TRILLION into other countries while we are on a down slope into another great depression, except this one will be worse because there is no way we
will recover from it.
Obama, just causin' more Drama.
This is rediculous, I almost wish I believed in killing, boy would I do some.

When did he said he hated Americans on this thread?
Sounds like you've given in to the lies that the media are telling.
A great lie they tell is "You hate America if you don't approve of everything that the government does!", this sounds like communism to me, where
government is God.
Be carful little ears what you hear, it may kill your soul.

That can be communism and fascism, but yes, I 100% agree with you. Too many people are confusing their Nation with their Government.
Governments come and go, they screw things up, and sometimes they fix things, and they will always lie to the nation to gain control over the
nation... but the Nation is the one thing that remains... the nation is the people, not the government.
Now, as for the Global Poverty Act, realistically, I would love to see money given to the impoverished to win their hearts and minds, rather than see
the money go to the military, who will only create more enemies.
Military force doesn't fix problems in todays world... it only creates a temporary setback for other countries, in the end, making for one HUGE
problem to deal with later.
Why do you think there are terrorist organizations out to get the states? It wasn't because we were nice to them.

Budski,
This money is not going to help anyone. Its going to the UN. That little building down in NYC that spends in excess of 25 million on Dom Perignon
and caviar a year. Only the very best for the sainted managers of world peace and calamity. Every time they set foot in Africa, millions die. This
isn't going to help your 'brown people'. This is going to go for more weapons to further the potentates and dictators causing the mess now. Its a
feel good swindle. Also the only reason I said Democrat is because Obama just happens to be one. One of ,if not the most, liberal of the bunch in
Washington. And by the way, Conservative isn't a dirty name. It just means slow down take a good look at the problem and don't do anything stupid
that exacerbates the problem. Most republicans anymore aren't conservative either. In other words "first, do no harm!!!"

I agree. How can we complain about our taxes going to help people, yet be quite happy with billions of our dollars being spend to finance pointless
wars over a resource thats destroying the planet?
Sounds remarkably like hypocrisy to me. What is it about Obama that frightens so many many flag-waving super-patriots anyhow? Couldn't be the color
of his skin could it?

And my reply is that he seems to have a gripe with Americans! Unless of course, Budski actually took a poll of all Americans to backup his
statement.
So, JimmyJackBlack.,......you used the word hate
