Fox News just aired small UFO segment with Steven Basset

Shepherd Smith on Fox News just had Steven Bassett on to talk about Britain releasing their UFO Files.

Shep clearly does not take it seriously, Basset handled it well.

Thanks for the heads up I'm watching it now.

Thats nice the newscaster said "Well I think its all a load of crap."

It sums up the unwillingness for people to really think about these things. And keep an open mind.

Shepard Smith is one hell of a dumb **SNIP**

Bassett was talking about the release of more British MOD UFO files.

I have lost all hope/faith in the news media ever covering the UFO subject in a serious manner EVERRRRRRR

Well, it wasn't the U.S. releasing the reports.

Also, pay close attention to how Shepard pronounces the word 'paradigm'

You are just as culturally contaminated as the rest of us. I found your disrespect towards Mr. Bassett and the (ufo) subject matter to be very unprofessional. As an educated person, living in an educated region of the world (USA), I find your lack of respect for professionals from other fields of expertise to be childish. Not everyone in the field of ufology is a drunken kook, and had you done one iota of research you would know that.

Shepard really skinned his ignorance in this report. First of all, he introduced Basset as being the head of the "Pair-ah-dig-um" Research Group. A national newscaster yet he doesn't know how to read the word "paradigm". It's probably not a word that someone as pedigree concious as Shep would have in their vocabulary.

Steven gave a professional, substantiated report, yet all Shep could say was... "well I think it's a load of crap myself" and in a tone that let me know that it pained him to have to even give air to this. The bottom line though was it showed me that he is intellectually bankrupt when it comes to this subject.
