Young cat & I may have redeemed ourselves finally!

M 6.3 - 19km SW of Juan Rodriguez Clara, Mexico

Time2014-07-29 10:46:15 UTC
Location 17.842°N 95.524°W
Depth 95.1km

There was a lot of food consumed last night for only a 6.3!

5 corn on the cob,(coincidence, it needed cooked & was handy);
a biiig bowl of cucumber/tomato salad, popcorn,(hubby & I both);
Siamin,(cup-a-noodles), & a Jello cup!
And that was after supper!
I didn't know the human stomach could stretch that much!!!

So far, I haven't gained any weight from this ridiculous quake eating,
but it's bound to catch up to me sooner or later!
I don't want my new ATS name to be 'Blimp"!!!!!!

Just logging a ferocious headache, guys. For once, (please forgive me for this) but I desperately hope it *IS* an 8 point something in the Aleutians, and not personal stuff that's making me feel this bad.

Hope you're all ok.

Much love

Hope you're feeling better by now!

Hubby has a migraine, pressure on his shoulders & the left pec pain,
the usual quake symptoms. He said they are a 5/6 right now.
He doesn't get the migraine very often,
have to see where his relates to!

Hope hubby is feeling better too. His symptoms kinda mirror mine...left side shoulder pain, headache still there but not as bad, very sore left shoulder the last few days, to the point where it feels like a frozen shoulder. Will see a physio next week I hope, but meantime...it's much more painful than usual. Left hip and leg also very tender.

Thankfully no eight pointer in Alaska overnight, but when we looked at the map this morning, we both said...wait, that's very quiet. Very few quakes showing and only a couple of small ones in Alaska. It's a bit weird.

I didn't want to make too Much of my symptoms last night....lots of personal stuff going on. Busy week with houseguests (always stressful!
), and my dad is in hospital in Houston quiet seriously ill, and the docs havent been able to pin down the problem yet. He has improved a little bit since he went in though, so we all have everything crossed.

Found an interesting site about geomagnetic activity
related to earthquakes, volcanoes, even
heart attacks & strokes!

www.glcoherence.org...

When I looked at their info, there was a peak
at exactly the time hubby had his chest pain!
The nurse in the ER said that day had been crazy busy too!

Going to have to start taking time to try & watch,
& see if there is some kind of a connection!

Hope your Dad is still improving & they find out what is wrong!

Wow! Really felt these!
Couldn't stay awake to finish fixing supper.
The whole 'sleeping pill' thing again!

NOAA has the 6.6 at 7.2!
Still feeling it, but not quite as bad.
Maybe more after shocks coming?

Less than two hours & it won't let me edit!

USGS upgraded it to a 6.9!
My ears are ringing now!

I'm feeling a bit irritable today. Just a but excitable somewhat. Something has had me in a funk for a couple days now. It's been sort of weird with me. Hope everyone is well.

I hope you're feeling a bit better today...it's been very quiet here, which might be a good thing.

I'm going to stay out of this thread for the next wee while, unless I get the mother of all Alaska headaches like the last one. My dad is seriously ill in hospital in Houston with West Nile virus and isn't expected to survive, although the specialists are trying a last ditch treatment that maybe, hopefully, will work and allow him to recover in ok shape. Fingers crossed. So yeah...I'm intensely angry, depressed, irritable, stressed out of my head, not thinking straight at all, in wall to wall pain physically and desperately looking for someone to blame.

Will be back though...hope you are all well.

Something may be on the way.
Hubby & I were at daughter & s-in-l's house.
Spent some time with some of the grandkids.

On the way back we took a quick run into Walmart.
I was getting major shocks off of every shelf & can!
It's been a long time since that has happened.

I am craving tuna fish sandwiches, bad!
Then it hit me, tuna, Pacific, Japan?
Too far out I think, but who knows?
And the 6 they just had didn't seem to bother us much.
But we weren't home when it happened.
We were playing cards with our card club,
so we may have not been paying attention.

Then on our way home from Walmart,
hubby started getting all his usual quake symptoms.
He said they are around a 5 or 6 right now, but building.
He's having the 'sleeping pill' thing too.
Young cat is trilling & wanting attention, but maybe she just missed us?

Just logging it just in case!

Head kills. It's 3 am and it's been building. Had some nausea waves earlier too. Not a bad day though. Quite enjoyable and quiet. I think we will have to see what's up. But yeah I'm hurting.

Hope you are still improving!
Hubby still has some of his symptoms.
I was really wiped out all day today,
like someone stole my batteries again!
I thought for sure when I opened USGS this morning,
That I would see at least a 6!

I wish I knew more about solar flares & magnetic fields!
I did find an interesting article about how the earth's magnetic field,
can affect the brain, nervous system, memory, heart attacks & strokes...

www.glcoherence.org...

There is a lot of information in there!
The most interesting part starts at:
"A number of important findings already have emerged."

They also have live data there,
but I don't know what to look for yet,
except that yellow on the spectrogram, is the most intense!
And hubby's symptoms seem to match up closest
to the detector activity in Lithuania!

Back to the drawing board!!! Lol!

Today I was feeling a gnarly headache. Seems it's better now though. It was just one of those that makes me more cautious.
There was also a magnetic filament eruption on the sun today.

My ears have been buzzing all afternoon.
Even had that weird sensation where my eardrums feel like they are vibrating!
I have no blood pressure problems, but today it could be up!

Youngest daughter called me with boyfriend problems last night.
Daughter-in-law of oldest son called me today with problems!
There is definitely some kind of disturbance in the force!
But what kind???

I wonder how caitlinfae's dad is doing too?

It's the supermoon disturbing the force. I expect a mega quake any second. Where, I dunno.

Same here with the buzzing/ringing. And no BP problems either.

And got hit with a "quake migraine" a couple of hours ago... usually within a 24 hour window (I`d guess 85-90% of the time) there is either a 7+ somewhere or a 4+ in the Arklatex area.

Hope this is one of the "misses" percentage wise!!!!

I've been watching for at least a 7 for awhile now.
Every morning I look...and nothing!

Not that I want one, I've just been feeling it off & on.
I've got to take time to read up on solar flares & the magnetic fields.
There has to be a link in there somewhere!

Glad I'm not the only one expecting it!
