No quake symptoms that I noticed.
REALLY worn out, but that's because we had our youngest granddaughter
stay over for 4 days! The youngest grandson stayed over just last night.
They are twins, but nothing alike! Less in common than just a bro & sis even!
She wears me out in a few hours, he could stay a month & it wouldn't be tiring!

Hubby is feeling a little better.
He still is feeling something...but can't pin it down to eqs!
Didn't get a chance to look at anything solar today!
I think we are going to have to resort to the air conditioner already.
We both are having trouble breathing, even though it isn't that muggy out yet.
Must be old timers issues!!!

Feeling that feeling and nothing to attribute it to.

Morning all..
Just logging in to see how you all are. I have the usual background pains today, not much unusual, except for a very sharp pain in my shoulder and left arm (not cardiac) so I dunno if it relates to anything. I'm still watching Alaska like a hawk....my headache is still there, bubbling away, not quite left me.

There were a couple of large quakes over night in the South Atlantic and Japan. One in the South Atlantic was initially listed as a 7.2, but is now downgraded to a 6.9.

I have this rising sense of anger too, which is not like me at all...something has me on my guard.

This flurry of activity is weird!
Especially the unusual magnitudes in AZ & Utah.
Hubby is still feeling something, but a little less than earlier.
I slept fairly well, but am really achy today & uncoordinated.
I'm lucky, I don't usually have the achiness.
Antsy & jumpy..yes, but not achy!

Are the aftershocks still reverberating around the globe,
or is something more coming???

~Well I was pondering...I'm not too sure about the techy side of how this works, but I do remember people talking about how there was some kind of resonance a few days ago between the 6.9 in Alaska, and the quakes in New Zealand and now Tonga. So I looked at this really unusual eq in the South Atlantic, and wondered if we would see similar resonance. Maybe in Iceland?

And there was a little 3.1 in Larsen Bay, Kodiak Island earlier today..not much of a quake, but worth watching.

Hope you feel better soon...achy is never good. I was gardening again tonight, so lets see how I am tomorrow...lol! I just can't bear the thought of not being 22 anymore.

Hi, Lois!
How have you been otherwise? Lol!
I saw your post at 11:20 PM ET, & went to look around.
Don't see anything close to you...YET!!!
The seismos aren't showing anything yet either.
But that really sounds like something is up!

I would assume it must be local,
if they don't do that for every bigger, worldwide one!
Do you have this link:

quakepredictor.net...#

I check it every so often, some interesting stuff there.
Youngest son is flying to Texas tomorrow for a work meeting on Tues.
He'll be flying back late Tues night, so I'll be watching things closely!!!

Hubby had a full seizure at 5:45 tonight our time.
He hardly slept last night because of all the ones in the works,
so it could be that, or something is still in the works!

Our area is going to be fracked!!!
They start seismic testing the beginning of July.
They want to test on our family's camp land that borders State Game Land.
They will be putting at least one well on SGL somewhere.

We don't know if we own any of the mineral rights,
& can't find out without going through a lawyer!
Or so they told me down at the courthouse!
If we don't own the rights, they don't need permission to test!

I haven't been making it easy for them,
haven't signed anything, they even tracked me down at the house!
Everyone is up in arms, they thought SGL was protected land!
Until the Game Commission wants money!!!
See if PA starts having uncommon earthquakes soon!!!

Stay safe & let us know if the critters do anything else!!!

They're going to frack where you live?? How awful....glad to hear you're making it as hard for them as you can. What a nightmare.

Just a quick post this morning to follow up on last nights. No Iceland activity (thankfully) but there was a 5.8 just north of Ascension Island on the mid Atlantic ridge.

Feel not too bad this morning, just the usual aches, but weird dreams about someone warning me about personal stuff...very odd. Ah well!

I'm doing ok still dealing with side effects from the chemo but no evidence of disease right now. I saw there were a couple in OK. That could have been why the animals were acting crazy. I really like that website. Thanks for posting it.

Hi guys....just here to log an Alaska type headache that has been building for the last half hour. Might be the weather..it's warm and kinda thundery this afternoon, but that doesn't usually give me these symptoms, so let's wait and see. Slight pain under my left ear too.

We had an earthquake in Scotland and I didn't feel a thing!

British Geological Survey

Was just a 2.9 though, so I'm not surprised really.

Oh, my gosh!
How often does that happen?

Ongoing activity a few places in California.
But was this one building up putting pressure there?

10.0 km

We both felt that one coming!
Still achy & some ear ringing.
Hubby is still miserable!
He said his eye sockets are so painful!?
That's a new one!

Young cat was wanting to be petted constantly earlier,
& had her ears flattened a little & pointed straight out to the sides.
I never saw her do that before! She looked like Yoda!
That was after the quake!
Now she is upstairs sleeping on the bed in the middle of the day,
even though we are both downstairs.

I have that 'something is coming' feeling, but it's on a small so far.

Hey all. Things have been crazy with Arthur and all. Had some severe weather happen around here that kept me busy for a couple days.

I'm not feeling well at all. A headache and uneasiness have set in with me this morning with a feeling of dread making me feel like I should be making a post in here.

I also notice a general unsteadiness. Like I'm sitting still but swaying almost like if if was on a boat. Plus I was outside a few minutes ago sitting on the brick and concrete steps and felt a tremor deep in the ground below me. It wasn't traffic. It's something else certainly.

Headache and uneasiness...absolutely. Bit of a panic attack last night for the first time in ages. Almost an Alaskan headache, and getting worse. I noticed that the quake map was a little quiet a couple of days ago, but there had been a small quake near Kodiak, which I've been watching for a while now. And we had quake, a 3.9 or 4, in the English Channel yesterday, so that makes 2 noticable events in the UK in a couple of weeks.

Can't say I've noticed the unsteadiness, but that's not a symptom I usually get.

I hope Arthur didn't cause you too many problems...didn't look like a lot of fun at all. Glad you're safe.

That's weird that you fell something too!
Yesterday after I woke up, but was still in bed,
I felt the bed shake like the cat jumped up on it.
But she was sound asleep near the bottom!
Then when I thought about it,
it was more side to side, than up & down!

I felt it once more before I finally got up,
but it was only about half as strong.
A few hours later Japan had the 6.5 quake!

It's happened a couple of times over the years.
One time at night, the outside, upstairs bedroom wall
made a huge cracking sound, like a 2x4 was splitting!
The cat & I both jumped!
He kept staring at the wall for a long time!
Japan had a 6.3 not too long after that!

I'm sure it's just coincidence, but it's really weird!
Why not other, bigger quakes, or closer ones?
And when the shaking happened about a year ago,
there were no big ones around that time!?

Japan's 6.5 showed really well yesterday on the seismo
at the college about 35 miles from us, so who knows?
But something is definitely moving!

Arizona has that unusual swarm of 17 since June 29th too!
All 2.8 to 5.2, nothing smaller!

I just checked the Alaska list.
Quite a few small ones in the last 6 hours.

I've got the munchies really bad right now!
I don't remember it ever happening
in the middle of the afternoon before!
My ears have started ringing now too!
Guess time will tell!

Well it's 4 in the morning here, and I'm wide awake, with terrible munchies...drinking tea and eating cheese sandwiches...that's a really rare occurrence too. I never get up during the night. I'm looking at the Alaska quake map and wondering where they all are.

I also have very sore legs tonight for some reason...particularly ankles and my right knee. I'm sure I had that symptom recently but I'm too sleepy to go and check now.

Mmmm....
Cheese sandwiches & tea sound great!
All I have are some cheese sticks,
but now you made me hungry for cheese,
so that will have to do!

I've been nibbling all day long!
But luckily it's been mostly healthy things.
A bag of pea pods that I got to put in stir fry,
'real' strawberries from the farmer's market,
sauteed red beets & greens & raw pistachios!
That's besides meals! I never quit today!
I should be bursting, but I'm not!

It's funny that this time I don't crave corn at all!
And it's a good thing because I'm all out of it!
It will be interesting to see what that weird combo means this time!

I had the 'sleeping pill' feeling last night,
no aches or pains today. Yet. But tonight I'm a little hyper.
Maybe I won't be able to sleep either!

Ha, ha!
The picture worked!
That is really weird! Do you usually eat those?
Anybody else been 'cheesing' it???

I had hubby stop on the way home from work & get some slices!
Had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch!
It's been a couple of years since I had one.
Did breakdown & make popcorn last night though!

Was it the power of suggestion?
I don't think so?!
If somebody mentioned scrambled eggs,
it might sound good, but I wouldn't crave them!

So quake investigators,
what can we deduce from this little experiment?
Hmmm...

6.1, Chile, 16:54:14 on 7/13.
6.3, Philippines, 04:00:00 on 7/14.

Maybe Chile, (South America), is cheese,
& the Philippines, (Western Pacific), is corn???
Too small of a sample to be any good, but fun to speculate!

Since I 'needed' grilled cheese for lunch,
that would mean another quake in South America shortly!
Guess we'll see!!!

What is everyone else craving???

What is funny is that I nearly bought a bag of popcorn at first..It turned into those things plus a bag of cookies and cream muddy buddies.
