the vaticans position on ET has been the same for years "if aliens exist god created them too" they also fully accept the theory of evolution except their take is god gave man a soul somewhere down the line.

the nasa announcement is from the chandra mission maybe some of you expecting the announcement of E.T should look into what Chandra actually does. Then you wouldnt sound like such an ignorant person. Just a thought....

The "big announcement" involves the Chandra X-Ray telescope. It's probably a supernova or something of the like. Not alien life (though it would be nice).

I heard this statement from the vatican on a short news broadcast on my local radio station in upstate N.Y. I really could not believe what I was hearing lol, I mean I live in the sticks and for the local radio station to even report on something of this nature is strange. Of course the anouncer poked fun at the story in the end by humming the twilight zone music. O well carry on folks, have a good day.

This is my point entirely, every news channel has covered this today and guess what, everytime that a reporter talks about it, straight away there are references of little green men, take me to your leader lol e.t.c. I believe wholeheartedly they are told what to say and how to say it by reuters maybe?

I think everyone agrees that to a certain extent that there is a shift in consiouness and more folks are interested in knowing more about this topic. Most of the big cable channels (History, TLC etc.) run constant programming related to the universe, aliens/ufo's and related material. The frequency of this type of programming has increased 10 fold in the past few years. It seems to me that something will take place in the next few years that will completely change the core belief system of humans as a whole. If you let your mind quiet down a bit and really pay attention you will feel that something is different, just can't put your finger on it...

For some interesting and not commonly recognized info concerning ET's , i suggest studying Carla Rueckert's website www.llresearch.org or reading Wynn Free/David Wilcock's book The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce? Rueckert is a channel and her channellings are considered some of the most credible. At the time of her original Ra channellings, in 1981, it was indicated that 70% of UFO activity was "service to self" or negative.

Another channelled book Voyagers 2, suggested that one of the plans was for the negative elite to drive the world into a state of desperation and then the service to self Et's would land and look like deliverance.

Why do they do this when they probably have the technology to easily take us over by force? Because they are bound by karma and they are aware of this. If they can make us surrender voluntarily, the karmic implications are less overwhelming.

Not expecting anyone to believe this as a result of reading this post, but i do recommend studying the referred to materials. There's a huge amount of indication that this may be true, but you need to do your own due diligence.
