that is very impressive. i think you are right on almost every level actually, i loved your analysis of my question. we do indeed polarize our vision on this subject. To hitler he was right we were wrong, to usa we are right he was wrong. what people dont do when it comes to the holocaust and something like rwanda is say "hey the jews the tutsi they were both people" because we look at the holocaust with more of a disgust than any other genocide. Thats wrong a life is a life it doesnt matter if they are jewish, gay, black, nazi, american, its sad equally when an american dies as when a nazi dies. we are all people and we shouldnt say we will never forget then turn our heads away when rwanda happens or when sudan happens.

Its not that he started a world war that im upset we only hear about him, though that isnt really a valid point to make I think a british person posted in here and said when he was in school he learned about all of the bad guys not just hitler, im upset because by teaching the holocaust to death we are putting the lives lost in the holocaust over the lives lost to stalin, or to mao, or hu. its ridiculous to put one life over another.

Compared to Mao and Stalin, Hitler wasn't that bad, but when your talking about tyrants of this magnitude, comparisons are meaningless.

Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot, Idi Amin and Jim Jones were all tyrants who mass-murdered innocent victims. They are all bad and we shouldn't waste too much time concerning ourselves with who was worse.

I know Jews that have gone thru this. They tell me stories of running away as small children while planes flew overhead strafing them with gunfire. Arguing over who is the worse mass murderer is not an argument anyone will win. In fact, it's not worth the argument as death, torture, pain and anguish are the only result.

Agreed.I might like to add that Hitler build the autobahn not with the citizens of germany in mind but for his military.He knew Germany was at risk of a two front war so made sure she had the network of highways and rail set up just so the military can move quickly form one front to another.In addition in the waning years of WW2 rail lines ,which were badly needed for the army, was mobilized to accelerate the Holocaust and given priority over army mobility.This is where the true evil of Hitler and the National socialist party show their true colors.

Judging from the hate websites on the internet,that ideology has survived to this day.The same year Hitler came to power 1933 ,did the holocaust begin with absurd laws targeting jews as they were seen at first as the reason for german defeat in WW1.Here we had a leader of a people who were supposedly well educated but were completely duped and tricked into a war and dictatorship.Hitler said that its a good thing that masses do not think!Theres a reason he said that.People of Germany were not thinking in 1933.They werent thinking when he scooped up slovakia or austria.And they bought the story of how the Poles attacked them first.

Then on his dying day he blamed germans for the loss of WW2.So a leader begins persecuting a culture based on conspiracy and lies,fools the general people with some conspiracies about jews dating back to Roman times,and starts a war to justify it all.What we got here is a leader not willing to accept responsibility for what hes done.An all to common occurance nowadays in our world.

So to answer the OP yes he was that bad and way worse.I will not let this rest and make sure each new generation knows about this particular dictator.

Researching Hitlers view of "Germania" will show you alot of what his intentions were.

Hitler had the right idea to rid the world of the lie of Christianity but he went about it totally the wrong way.

And yeah, i'm sure that statement is gonna outrage people but why don't you do some research on christianity being a lie created by the jews to control the non jewish before you stone me for my statement.

he wanted to rid the world of more than just christianity. and if were a choice of how he was to rid the world of christianity then i would rather have it the way he did it rather than a "brave new world" scenario where you have no clue that youre being controlled or need to fight back. With hitler everyone knew the danger.

It was his duty to fulfill the prophecy, and by his actions, he fulfilled them. Without him Israel would have never existed.

Dont use his manipulation of the people to say he was evil. We are manipulated on a daily basis as well with news with REALITY TV! with everything we are being manipulated to pay no attention to the big issues. Its the truth! Turn on your news tonight o right now watch the news channel and tell me that at least 70% of the stories on there are non sense that doesnt deserve being called news.

Every government manipulates their people for a very good reason WE DONT THINK we listen and agree and we never think about whats really being said, like in our presidential debates how artfully the candidates can divert our attention from the question they were just asked and go off on their own little tangent.

So you cant say hitler was bad because Bush, Clinton, Obama all play off of our lazyness and our ignorance.


On a side note i was talking to one of my friends and she brought up a very good point, since it was our fault that Hitler did what he did thats why we dont let our nation forget about what we have done. All the other leaders around the world stalin being one wasnt under our control Hitler was.

Ok so here is the thing every tv documentry I have ever seen on Hitler has said that Hitler was against religion, BUT, you were correct (only half correct actually) Hitler did believe in the bibles God but very seldom did he go to church to practice the churches practice of religion. So he was very religious, but did not go to church.

Many American books, television documentaries, and Sunday sermons that preach of Hitler's "evil" have eliminated Hitler's god for their Christian audiences, but one only has to read from his own writings to appreciate that Hitler's God equals the same God of the Christian Bible.

So i was using some pretty ignorant information when i should have researched a little bit.

Now dont get me wrong when i said he believed in the bibles god he did but he was against the churches version of that god because many forms of christianity change the religion to fit their strange views (mormons). So it could be what you've said hatter because the churches god is different from the god that I have seen in the bible.

Don't forget Pol Pot leader of Cambodia who killed 1.7 to 2.5 million people, who were educated, who wore glasses, to make the country to go back to "year zero,"(send all workers back to fields) and lets not forget this all happened in the 70's and he basically got away with out.
As for Hitler, if I couldn't get a job, even with years of experience, a degree, and all jobs went to illegal immigrants(Or a minority "Jews" now called the "Rich"). Hitler promised how you would get your job back, or one that is in your field of study; I would vote for him. He just wanted to make a society,where everyone had decent job. Let's not forget how poor the economy was In Germany when he took over, and how he turned that around so fast. Also most Germans didn't agree with the Treaty of Versailles, which blamed Germany for WWI, and disallowed Germany from having its own army, which Hitler obviously objected and swore to overturn the Treaty which he did. Hitler also created a magnificent schooling system, which he did, also made the infrastructure in Germany as one of the best in the world So I think I might have voted for him then. then his sadistic thoughts came to be. But this is all about voitng him in as the Kaiser.

Germany gave the world the opportunity to help emmigrate Jews away from Germany, i don't know before or after they started the Holocaust, but the Zionists as well as 30 something countries didn't want to help pay to save these Jews from the Holocaust. So, imo the Holocaust could have been reduced by huge proportions but the Zionists didn't want any of it and decided to betray their own.
