The tile of this post tis the exact one Reuters used for an article released a bit earlier.

Now, when UK government and Reuters (2 respectable "brands") talk about green aliens, I believe there should be some interest and truth this one.

Did you read it again?
Reuters are not talking about it, they are reporting something that others have said. In this case letters or call send/made TO the MoD by OTHERS.

In other words, none of them are really confirming (or affirming for that matter...) that anything does infact exist. They are just telling us what kind of reports they have gotten from "normal" people over the years.

Though it's sad, The Sun article was much more informative than the Reuters one. Evens states at one point that the files in no way proves that the MoD knows about aliens. If anything they are supposed to show that they didn't care enough about them, as long as they didn't pose a threat. Sound and reasonable use of taxpayers money I'd say

Hi all

Please take anything written by 'The Sun' newspaper with a large pinch on salt, they are not one of the most respected newspapers in the UK, they are happy to run 'sensationalist' stories in order to boost their sales.

(apologies about going off topic for a moment) They recently ran the story of the 'Flying Witch' in Mexico, when if they could have been bothered to do even the smallest amount of research on the internet they would have discovered it looked extermely similar to the W.A.S.P - but hey, why come to a logical conclusion when you can report a flying witch?

However the story about the Government documents being released for public consumption is being ran by the BBC, a much more respected media outlet! they are reporting that the docs will be available to downlaod for free within the first month.
