Michael Moore Making 9/11 Sequel

thinkprogress.org

Variety reports that Michael Moore is making a sequel to “Fahrenheit 9/11,” which was a “scathing indictment of George W. Bush’s war on terrorism and a hit at the worldwide box office.” The new film will reportedly pick up where “Fahrenheit” left off: “In the time since, President Bush’s popularity has plummeted, while the Iraq war continues and the economy falters.”

This should be interesting...I wonder if he will invoke We Are Change in this one? One thing's for certain, if this expands upon the last one, it could be relabled into the "horror" genre, with what we've seen occur here in this nation since the last film.

This and Cusack's film "War Inc." should be must sees this year IMO.

These guys are literally doing the jobs that the ever-corrupted Corpomedia should have done a long time ago in exposing these monsters.

wonder if this film will be for art, a message, or to fill his piggy bank. what ever the reason he has it will be a fire storm of controversy maybe in time for the next election. i love when he ruffles the feathers of those he sets his sites on.

I know Micheal Moore has often been scolded for making so much off his ventures... but that's hardly something to get at him for.

I recently read "dude where's my country"... interesting book... could have used a better title.
He certainly hit the nail on the head. The book was written 5 years ago, and he was spot on with what's going to happen to the economy due to the war.

In fact, for something thats 5 years out of date... it's incredibly accurate as to what's going on right now.

He might be a bit arrogant as a person... but he is also very intelligent, and tends to hit the nail right on the head.

I would find it hard to give Moore a 2nd chance after the pathetic drivel Fahrenheit v1 was.

IMO the guy is nothing but a pied piper for the lefties. On one hand he lets the NWO off the hook by selling straw man arguments for the left, on the other he plays the bogeyman for FOX and friends to reinforce their own propaganda. All the while he is selling NWO mantras like snake oil and dodging the REALLY inconvenient truth, that the US government is 100% subverted by a corporate fascist cabal which will stop at absolutely nothing to further its agenda.

Just look at his 'greatest hits' track record:

Bowling For Columbine: Gun control for the masses.
Fahrenheit 911: a wet lettuce attack on Bush administration rather than going for the inside job jugular.
Sicko: More hoorahs for socialism and dependency on government rather than attacking the infrastructure that makes healthcare so expensive in the first place.

Maybe he truly believes his own hype, which makes him a dumbass as well as a shill. I wonder who he uses for researchers and who pulls the strings there. His films are seductively entertaining to watch but I always feel like I am slapping my own face as I watch.

Definately to fill his piggy bank and for another 15 minutes of fame.

It definately is NOT to get any truth out there. His F911 was so full of errors (as most of his work is) that it couldn't be taken seriously. I highly doubt he has evolved to the point of being able to tell the truth.
