Shuai Chiao- Ancient Chinese Wrestling

Topic started on 13-5-2008 @ 05:27 PM by Hollywood11

Shuai Chiao is very ancient. Although it is associated most with wrestling and throwing, make no mistake, it is a complete fighting art designed to finish and hurt the opponent if necessary. I believe it's originally even a battlefeild art it is so old

Many chinese martial arts contain shuai chiao as well as locking, seizing, strikes, elbows, knees, kicks etc. however there is also just the specialization of only shuai chiao, or chinese wrestling, to lock and throw the opponent
