Disclaimer: I'm atheist but not of the Abrahamic faiths. I have minor biblical scholarand scriptural skills. Also I'm not a scientific expert in any field.

jimmyjackblack you state and I quote "You can't prove the Big Bang happened, nobody can, it's just a theory." Well we can but try and the CMB (cosmic microwave background) map investigated by the WMAP satellite provides near conclusive evidence of it having actually happened and I provide the wiki link for it here

Theories need to bee falsifiable and the Big Bang theory was not falsified by the WMAP experiment (Steady State Theory was Falsified!!!)and therefor must be taken as most likely real until other evidence is provided for or against. Can you falsify your theory of GOD? If not is it even a theory or is it just baseless statements?

Personal Disclosure:Its my understanding Science evolves its understanding and has never said that it doesn't do this! You are right Science is not "FACT" as Facts are Facts and Science just helps us work them out with a rigorous repeatable algorythym of Scientific investigation and peer review. "Sciences" only real fact is that it works!

P.S. I direct you to the scripture I posted in my reply to the O.P. to show you directly the YHVH of the Bible is not a nice GOD (as the O.P. was trying to impart). (I can also provide you more if you ask)

We are talking about the christian version of God.
Also if every human being that is real has a first an last name then what is gods last name?
There isn't one so how can we prove something fake to be real when he has three letters for a name and nothing else.

OmegaLogos is completley right. Science works and we see this happening every day. Your so called God is a myth that people believe. When people get said or depressed they will believe almost everything. I think God is just a simple solution that someone made up so that he could try to keep the world in peace. We don't see proof that God exists but we do see science work and get closer and closer to proving the unknown.

I am striving to prove that something is not real. We are lead to believe many things. Most of which are false. I am am tired of following people who are fake. Unless there is hardcore proof. I won't believe anything unless you can show me the real so called God. If he showed up in my living room and had a conversation with me and told me everything is true then i might believe him but he hasnt so there is no god.

1stly Thanks for the kudo's on the science thing.

2ndly you state "Your so called God is a myth that people believe." and I believe this a response to jimmyjackblack and not to me as I did not bring my GODDESS into the equation at all and in fact I believe I am her only follower on the entire planet and I haven't converted anyone yet! Find out about her here!

3rdly you also say and I quote "We don't see proof that God exists but we do see science work and get closer and closer to proving the unknown" well we would see proof if we defined GOD 1st and then see if it matches with reality....so A) the universe (far bigger than the observiverse) or Cosmos is infinite and so is GOD (Omnipresence) B) the universe knows itself fully and so does GOD (Omniscience) and finally the universe is all powerful and so is GOD (Omnipotence). How come you don't see this as "PROOF"??? and more specifically why isn't it Considered "PROOF"???

Personal Disclosure: I do see it as Proof and I qualify it as such because I don't see the universe being any less than GOD and I see the universe all the time!!! Existance by definition requires a creator state! the Universe created itself from nothing and so created itself. Why can't GOD do this?

Explanation: 1stly you state "I am striving to prove that something is not real" and I suggest you read up on "Proving a null hypothesis" and how hard or impossible that might be. Basically you can't PROVE a negetive by itself! you can prove a negetive by proving a positive elsewhere (i.e. showing up a contradiction) but GOD by definition is Contrary and so you can't prove a positive 1st and then show that the negative disproves GOD!.

2ndly you say and I quote "I am am tired of following people who are fake" and aren't we all so it behooves us to follow ourselves or even better the actual truth we find for ourselves (not from others!).

3rdly you then say "Unless there is hardcore proof." and I agree with you here as extraordinary claims require extraordinary PROOF. but the universe by default is extraordinary and so its existence basically PROVES GOD's existence. Please show me where my rational logic is flawed.

Personal Disclosure: Please Go stand in front of a mirror and call yourself your GOD and tell yourself that you can and will work it all out as I suggest you are at least a part of GOD and let no other part of GOD surplant you ever from your local seat of deity

P.S. Become Totally disillusioned and finally see everything for real. Think Globally, Act Locally and Feel Internally.

God cant do this because he isn't real. If he was real then why is science prooving the Big Bang Theory and not Gods existence. Because GOD IS NOT REAL! Science is not going to waste valuable time trying to prove something that doesn't exist. The Universe is not God. It is space. It is weightless matter that is there. The Big Bang threw everything into motion. It took a very long time but it happened. The Big Bang Theory is the only credible source. Saying that God is the Universe is false because it was said earlier that that God was a person. So how can your so called God be a person and weightless matter known as the universe at the same time. There is no way to prove God exists or existed because everything you have tried to prove has lead back to science.

If I am wrong or if the mods are aware of your situation then I apologize but that kind of stuff stands out to me when I see threads like this that have 'troll' written all over it. There is no way for me to prove it but such things do make me suspicious because it typically takes some time to become aware of all the features and to care about customizing everything.

1st off I have watched my friend navigate around this page for about a month during school. 2nd off it is until recentley I have decided to join. 3rdly I asked the same guy to make me an avatar who made my friend an avatar. So back off. I am well aware how to navigate around the website. I have also posted a lot and the guy who made my avatar told me to change my background. So I did.

You shouldn't go around getting the wrong first impression of people you dont know. You shouldnt go around calling people out because guess what. I can almost guarentee that you are wrong about everyone. You know why. It is because you worry to much about what peoples avatars look like and not enough time reading what people have to say. Quit worrying about how long someone has been on the site. It could be someone who has played around with it and learned how to use it quickly. So quit worrying about how long people have been on the site and more time reading what people have to say.
