Ghostly Camp...

Recently one of my friends, Allen, went on a camping trip with his family... they took some photos and saw this:

That night outside the tent they heard moaning, a scream, and some flashing lights. There were no other campers for 3 miles away from them!

Also a shadow shaped like a man was cast over the tent and they could hear heavy breathing...

Later... they found out that a man had gone to that camping site alone and commited suicide by stepping into his campfire...

scary...where were you when this happend? ie country,state

Where about’s where they in Europe i.e. country, region? I'm just asking because I would really like to research this story myself.

As for committing suicide in a camp fire, that's a first!!!
The poor guy must really have been determined to end his life if he could actually stand in either fire or hot coals until they burned through.
I guess his self discipline must have been extraordinary high!!!

So don't you think (to us outsiders) this last bit of the story should casts doubt over the whole of the story?
If you could give some place names, or links to the camp fire suicide I'm sure many would be grateful.

However I've reasoned with the rest of the story anyway...

1. Setting fire to your cloths is really very err... unlikely, to kill unless...
They're soaked in a flammable liquid
Or you stay extremely still (such as in human combustion cases where people have passed out-or had e.g. a heart attack).

I'm a believer in the paranormal but I have a more scientific explanation…

2. A local pervert was attracted like a moth to your friends camping. Along the way the idiot bumped into something and screamed, and then used a light to check his wounds (although he could have known this would give away his position).
Disturbed yet carm your friends later thought they were alone, but actually they were being watched!!!
3. As for the heavy breathing this also has a scientific explanation although I won't actually say it!!!

4. Your photo could just be Mr Pervert trying to stay out of the local press.
Maybe you should give some negatives to the police; after all it could be someone they know.

Place names would be great. But thanks for you’re personal THREAD if we can cast out those doubts no true story should have.

They didnt find the info as a news story... they heard from multiple locals and such...
