Weird, i had a dream i was in liverpool a few months ago.

It was one of those lucid ones where you get to ask questions - naturally i asked where i was.

Perhaps, we're getting somewhere, slowly. What makes these countries less 'dumb'? By what criteria are you assessing these countries? Or is this just a general feeling?

i quite agree that we may be getting shafted as you put it, but most people cant move due to family, or work, or other.

and i have just alerted this thread.

But wouldn't dumb Brits moving to Spain just make Spain dumb? Or have you abandoned your original comments about Brits being dumb as a whole?

If it's just there are better places to live, this is an extremely dull thread. Unemployment levels in Spain are far higher than in the United Kingdom (for example), but I guess you're basing all this on the weather. Presumably, you're fluent in Spanish, Danish, Portuguese, French, German and Finnish in order to know ('cause we have to trust you on this), absolutely, that these are better places to live. You have also, presumably, lived and worked in each of these countries, in both country and town, for 2 or 3 years to truly get to know them.

It's a measure of a thread when you are moved to the Rant forum.

You don't seem to understand.

If people Emigrate, the Government gets more and more desperate for cash because it isn't taxing as many people - those people you 'convinced' to emigrate have only made the situation worse for the people who choose to stand their ground.

You might wonder why it's nessecary for individuals to stand their ground, and the answer is simple;

We don't want to see our country extinguished by economic failure, and if i have to - i'm prepared to help wrestle the reins of power from the Government in order to steer this bandwagon back on course.
