You mean, ?>You?

Okay.

You still haven't told us exactly where is a better place than the U.K.

Go on, name one country.

So you acknowledge that not all Brits are dumb?

If so, this thread serves about as much use as a speck of dust on the behind of an elephant.

New Zealand

USA - (usually)

France

Spain

Portugal

Germany

Canada

Finland

Denmark

small islands in the middle of the Atlantic???

You get the drift right?

So it wouldn't be covered by your comment:

'I know our reident Brits will fume and throth at the mouth with this one - but it still would fail to account for the sheer stupidity of Brits as a whole..'

Unless, of course, you're referring to the 'We're not English...' flag on the Kop.

Also, you've changed tact in this thread and are now saying it's about paying through the nose and the country's going kaput, but the people aren't dumb. Which is it?

While it would be simple for me to simply consider you a liar and judge you for it, that's not like me - instead i prefer to do things the 'civilised' way.

What exactly is it that makes you think that emigrating is the best solution?

Surely a better option would be for us to band together and face down the oppressors, instead of what you're suggesting and running away at the first sign of trouble.

You don't seem to understand.

If people Emigrate, the Government gets more and more desperate for cash because it isn't taxing as many people - those people you 'convinced' to emigrate have only made the situation worse for the people who choose to stand their ground.

You might wonder why it's nessecary for individuals to stand their ground, and the answer is simple;

We don't want to see our country extinguished by economic failure, and if i have to - i'm prepared to help wrestle the reins of power from the Government in order to steer this bandwagon back on course.
