Noise is obvious when you take pictures at night. Nothing to do with editing.

No, that's not true. But I'm waiting for your raw files to download. The one I viewed looked like the "noise" setting was set at 'uniform dispersal' at a low aperture. A very low one but I recognize that effect when it's been applied because I use it all the time in those photo's I process in my work. It has the effect of smoothing out any tonal variations to give the photo a more softer finish.

Anyway, if I'm wrong then my apologies but just saying that this is what it looks like to me. Will see if it looks the same in its raw version.

Welcome to ATS, let's get this question out of the way.

Were you inside a house, and took these pictures through a window? Although the ones i looked at it doesn't appear that you were.

But what I'm asking, was there anything(a window or the like) between you and the objects as far as you know? Again there doesn't seem to be but just so we can rule out reflections, as being the cause.

Although in the pictures Internos uploaded, 01 seems to be obviously taken from "outside". I just want to ask if all the pictures were taken from outside house/apartment/condo ect, just again to rule out reflections.

Nice pictures by the way

Intersting group of shots, can I ask, what camera did you use? what time of evening were the shots taken and what speed, when moving, were the objects travelling at?

Hi guys,

The coordinates from where I took the pictures were: 50°55'41.22" N 6°57'01.26" E

My friend was next to me and took all pictures outside. (Told him to get a cam when we all (6 people) saw the UFO's.

Canon Eos was the Camera.

It was at 10 pm.

I have no idea how fast they were. Because they was no sound emited from them. But it must at least have been 200 mph.

blueray, welcome to ATS. Nice pics.

First question is with relatively much time at your disposal and a good digital camera, how come most of the close-ups are blurred including the buildings? Were your hands shaking? Were you running and taking shots?

I'm in no way trying to debunk this...

It is not my camera and my friend took the shots with his camera. the pics are blurred i guess because the ufo's were moving at a high speed. This is just a guess though I am not into photography and imaging.

btw: he was next to me though.

Looks like the photos were taken behind glass and we are seeing reflections of light from behind the camera.

Maybe someone will disprove that theory.

Hopefully.

Did you report it, Blueray?
There are several websites that collect records of such sightings.

The reason this is likely not a hoax is because hoaxes look much more obviousl

Obviously, at high speeds, you cant get anything sharper than that.

Good stuff

Probably, it were just ordinary fireworks. There are a lot of spring celebrations these days like "Rhein in Flammen"(very big fireworks), or "Kirmes in Bergisch Gladbach" (a local funfair including lights and fireworks).

And fireworks do not go in a straight line at constant speed.

Man, I really had to work hard to upload all of these pics for you guys to see. I do not like to be accused of producing fake pictures!

Sorry, but they look like birds or insects. For having such a nice camera, you would think the pictures would be less blurry. Oh well.....

The mentioned fireworks are high quality, so you can see them from miles away without hearing any sounds and not to forget all the Discotheques in the city center, or in the outskirts like Frechen, Bonn or Bergisch-Gladbach often using powerful searchlights to illuminate the sky over cologne. Very impressive and often the reason for such UFO reports.

Very nice collection of photo's! I downloaded the raw versions of them and so far I find them very intriguing.

Blueray, just wanted to make sure that no filters were used on these photo's and I explained why the first one I looked at looked like something was applied to it.

There's no EXIF information on each photo but there's no reason why we shouldn't just take your word for it that these are indeed the raw versions of these photo's because the "Image Information" for each photo states that they have NOT been modified which would be expected because they are CR2's.
