I would love to think that NASA are going to reveal some informtaion about UFOs but in reality this just simply isn't going to happen. Theres been to much insanity for NASA to finally admit that maybe those big round objects in the sky that move at 15,000mph are aliens.

Common sense, reason and logic tells you that the information they are going to release is important to only a very small, minor segment of the population (scientist, astronomers, nerds) and concerns something that is not very important. So any speculation concerning this release being something huge is born from ignorance of how things work and the inability to use common sense.

If I need to explain further, plain and simple, your a reason the UFO community is looked upon as outcast weirdos who will believe anything and see a conspiracy in everything. You guys propagate this stereotype with reckless abandon, and ruin the only hope of actually finding out more because you play into the hand that feeds so to speak.

Sorry to be so blunt, but its reality. Continue to scream about things of which you have no clue, while making reckless guesses based on your ignorance, and the only thing you do is help to ensure that this subject remains fodder for casual humor.

My last debunker paycheck was short by 20 hours (clerical error) so I have been a little harsher than normal as of late, and taking it out on the people I am paid to debunk. I called the office, but they say it will take a few weeks to sort it out. Screw that, if they want to have me fight for their cause they should at least pay me correctly and on time. Is that too much to ask? I mean, I'm helping to hide the ultimate truth here, am I not?

Maybe I should switch sides. What is the pay scale of posting like an ignorant blind believer who will entertain the most absurd, implausible and least likely explanation about everything while playing into the ignorance of others at the same time? If it is better, then I'm on board with that too. I'm a whore you know.

Yeah, I was lazy on that reply and just copied and pasted a reply to some other thread speculating this "potentially monumental" Nasa press release.

I should take a break. After being around for so long and seeing so much, nothing is new anymore. Every five minutes you have someone post their opinion about some "revelation" they had, which is in fact normally born out of ignorance. And the problem is, they don't know what they don't know, so if you try to point that out you get blasted. And after a while you get tired and grumpy like me.

Fortunately for the cause of common sense, reason and logic, this place does entertain the tag line "Deny Ignorance". The sad part is the community around here seems to overwhelmingly embrace ignorance. As evidence of that, just read most of the thread titles on this very forum, lol.

Please, keep up the stereotype that folks interested in Ufology are in fact paranoid weirdos who will fall for anything. By keeping that stereotype alive and well you guys ensure that there will never be the disclosure you post about ever 10 threads, lol

Again, don't kill the messenger.

Holy cow, after reading my own reply I see I need to take a break. I mean, could I come off a s bigger ahole? I could have edited it or something, but this should serve as an example to people. When you get this burnt out you should step back.

I used to be such a good poster too

Let me guess....

You also like the sound of your own voice?

Do you call your answering machine several times a day, just to listen?

To quote Napoleon, "Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake."

Keep posting dude, here's more rope _________________________

woah, woah, woah, don't paint me with the "you guys are all a bunch of conspiricy nuts" brush. i have seen plenty of people here, that demand proof when a ufo siteing is posted, in fact, they are often chastized for being so adament about showing some type of documentation from the poster. and the other obviously faked posts, are ignored by me, and i'm sure alot of other ATS members as well.

Tell me how you know that. You're probably right, but you don't know you're right for sure unless you already know what they're going to say. You don't know anymore about the announcement than I do. I'll hold out some hope. The worst that could happen is that it will be nothing important, as suspected. No harm done in that case, just a little disappointment.

Chances are.... it probably has something to do with stars, black holes, nebulas, or something like that. The discovery was made with the Chandra Observatory, after all.

I'm not sure about the connection, but I'll definately watch the video. The Chandra observatory seems to discover other kinds of space-stuff but who knows?

I'm going to be blunt. IgnoreTheFacts is a lazy, uninspired poster. It looks like he/she simply has written a couple of posts and copy/pastes them into other threads.

As far as the guy who said something to the effect of "why wait, can't they release it now if its so important?" That statment is too born of ignorance concerning the scientific and media community, and if you settle down, think for a moment, it will be clear to you why they do it in this manner.

If the criteria for debunkers is that they just copy and paste word for word statements into numerous threads, then I guess debunkers aren't all they think they are. Would you agree?

It looks like he edited out a paragraph from the below (from another thread).

Quit playing games, you know as well as I do that that is a canned response you use in numerous threads. You do realize you are on ATS right? And you thought we'd fall for your little innocent act.

Now now, lets not attack one guy. I would paste and click if there were siamese posts as well. I can see where he is coming from, and maybe a cooling off period would work? Who knows, I maybe just don't want to click ignore on someone, when in the past they have shown to be more than what they are now.
As for this "big" announcement, would they really have been ignored if it was HUGE? No, it would have been leaked and the MSM would be all over it...

They will never tell us anything that we arent meant to know so im not holding out much hope that it will be anything other than a BIG deal to them but to the rest of us hoping to get answers to some big questions from the last 50years i think we might be a little disapointed.

Prediction: a planet beyond pluto!
