Apology from energy_wave. Should he be allowed to post again?

I have had several private discussions with e_w and he is not malicious unlike some members. He has and does contribute on a regular basis and he is one of a relatively small group of people that brings value to the equation that is ATS.

Otherwise I must support management and note that the website would be utter chaos if it became the sounding board or promotional vehicle for every other site on the web. There are other accepted and even other subtle and discreet methods in which one can bring attention to personal web efforts.

Well... Up to now it's practically a unanimous decision to let him back.

He was on posting ban? I thought he was just too embarrassed to show his name again.

I think he should be allowed to post with the energy_wave name because it allows us to identify the feb-9 hoax culprit. You're forever marked, buddy!

Aside from that incident, he actually contributed good material to ATS.

Check the members list, they have a status bar, indicating whether someone is banned or not.

He deserves another chance. Bring energy_wave back he's really a good guy.

come on, the guy started the biggest thread in ats history. He deserves to be let back in.

He should be let back,there has been lots of people let back on ATS who have done worse things than he did.He made a mistake,so what,at least he realises and regrets it.

yeah, i fully agree with all that. let energy_wave have one more chance, and people have mentioned that he/she have a mod as a parole officer for a while. that's a good idea too.

I agree he should be let back. Besides that one stupid hoax thread (wich was really stupid), he always been a great member IM0.

We don't have a ruling on this yet?
