Seems many have this view...just seems a bit inconsistent with the life as portrayed by the man himself as you watch his actions and speech with the common folk of his times.

YEs, I saw the same show..But within the last two years I saw an even better one one this subject- just can't remember where/when. Also was in touch with a guy who said the temple can be constructed within 2 years and likely 1.5 years..

Yes, we carnal humans have a tendency to focus way too much on the physical, forgetting that the previous physical temples were simply symbolic of what was to come, the spiritual temple, the body of Christ, the church of God, with Christ as head priest. Paul himself who gave the prophecy of the man of sin sitting in the temple said over and over again exactly what the temple was, and where God was now dwelling, that being in his church, in us.

I found this site by looking for how to prepare for the reign of antichrist... most people believe in the rapture? but my peeps always taught me that the rapture was fake - reasoning being that if Jesus had to suffer - why won't we, how will we just be raptured into the sky and not go through anything, Jesus in the garden of Gethsamane cried, my God my God why hast thou forsaken me, so I personally don't believe we will get to float away, so how do you prepare for the antichrist reign of terror?

Don't forget the Red Heifer, since 600BC only nine has been seen and all slaughtered. I think this purification process will prove to be the most challenging task, besides rebuilding the actual temple, last one was destroyed 70AC by the romans.

The most important principle for Christians is to believe that Jesus died for their sins on the Cross, was raised on the third day (as confirmation of this) and call Him Lord. No true Christian claims they are heirs to Jesus' Kingdom through their own efforts. Its like throwing a rope across a deep chasm - our rope and efforts are never long enough to reach the other side where justification resides. That doesn't mean we can go on doing bad things without a thought, we are answerable to GOD.
