Don't forget your history, one of the biggest anti-gay movements in this country started right there in Rupert at the Blue Room bar. The wierd thing is that Minidoka County Idaho is so ethnically diverse and yet so right wing Repblican. The dominate religion is Utah style Mormanism (who tends to vote oh, around 85% republican), and yet where is the leadership for freedom, equality, diversity and integration? Huh, not there. I applaud this student for bringing diversity to the school, celebrating his heritage and supporting diversity in America.

By the way, Rupert is a beautiful city, and many of the inhabitants are very wonderful open minded people. It does however need to be freed from the dark oppressive fog of ultra right wing conservative biggoted fools that seem to dominate the public forem there...I for one love our friends from the south and welcome to the United States and for all that the folks from Mexico bring the USA and nut just low cost labor, but the rich cultural history and customs...life is so much more wonderful in America because we have such a diverse background in settlers and inhabitants...from all over the world. It's ok...celebrate this...enjoy one another's foods and stories...who cares if they aren't LDS, or anything...love one another yo!

A teacher can't throw anything of value away of another's

Plus, I don't see what grounds the teacher took the flag away on, if no one was threatening him right there and then..then the teacher really had no right to take it away
