Balancing Act (One-axle motorcycle; UNBELIEVABLE!)

It may look like the most dangerous motorbike in the world
but this new invention is actually the latest form of green transport.

NUTSO! I'm cracking up at this bike- but I do like the ingenuity
of the inventor!

I tell ya, regular motorcycles were nearly the death of me on
several occassions; what would happen on THIS one? It said
top speed was 25 mph; in a car that seems very slow. On a
bike, it's a little faster. What if we start seeing these things
going 65 mph? Do you think ya can even get insurance for
something so wild?

i cannot see how it is " green " the energy required to maintain balance during acceleration / braking is IMHO wasted - i believe it uses more rescources in manufacture than a ` conventional ` motorcycle - as it requires the gyro in addition to everything else - as the article states it has two wheels side by dide - so thats two hubs , tyres etc

i would need a lot of convincing to persuade me that this is not just a gimmick - and EVEN more to persuade me of its eco credentials

as like i state - i am convinced that a conventional layout m/cycle with the same power pack would be less complex and rescource hungry to build

And easier to ride! Star, ig_ape!

Yeah, don't know how 'green' it really is, but I'm just the type to want a
turn riding one!

Come to think of it, if you hit the brakes, you go end-O, smack on your
face!!! Must take a lot of distance, for braking time, slowly!

Genius. But far from practical. A glorified people mover. A moped would be safer and you could carry a sack of grocery.
