Man kills wife in Kentucky nursing home, self, police say

CARROLLTON, KY. (AP) -- Police in northern Kentucky say an
85-year-old man shot and killed his wife in her nursing home
room, then fatally shot himself.

I imagine some would say a man who lives that long, has a
right to decide his own fate; but what about taking his wife
with him? Certainly wrong, I'd say. She probably had different
ideas, regarding her end.

After the abduction & murder of my young cousin last year,
I've been more keenly aware of this rising phenomenon, of
murder/suicide; as my cousin's murderer took his own life,
after he was finished with her. He was 63, my cousin was 21.
The saddest, most tragic story in my life so far...

Call it selfish, or evil, or spiteful, or mental; but whatever it is,
these acts only deteriorate our collective human soul, in my
op. What do you think causes this behavior? Is it the moral
breakdown of society, in general? Or more of an isolated, (but
ever increasing) individual breakdown of the ability to cope
with personal problems, and stress?

In this case, she was probably suffering a lot and he didn't like seeing her suffer. Then, he couldn't imagine life without her so thought he'd join her.

Sad way to end it.

as much as I know its every individual lacking positive vibrations in their life, due to allowing fear and greed control them in discreet and sometimes overt ways, I also believe the television is largely a responsible candidate to the destruction of spirit within the masses....
look at the differences between people who rely on television for information and never question or second guess anything...and look at the people who tend to read, and seek their information from other sources...or live lives from experiences and abstain from television manipulation.

The television literally reprograms your mind to associate violence with entertainment...it seems so innocuous, and the tv isnt the only culprit. Religion is a culprit. Occultists within the Vatican are culprits. But the biggest culprits are each individual who walks through life asleep only using their left brains and surpressing their right brains...

The biggest culprit is us...for allowing ourselves to lose our spirit...to lose our paths.
When people found out the truth about religion they strayed..they alone accepted science and physical proof as their mandates for what is truth and what isn't truth.
They shut off their innate human abilities and allow fear and low vibrational energies to consume their lives.

Im not saying repent your sins...Im saying ignite your inner power...
all that you need to conquer this world is already inside you ....

That could be, Jessica, good point, Star!

You just hit on the number one reason for murder/suicide amongst the
elderly today; terminal suffering. As disturbing as it was, the man needs
to be respected, to a certain degree, for a lifetime that was probably very
fulfilling, and productive & enjoyed; but too sad in the end to continue.

Another pair of souls to pray for.
