I'm getting the same thing.

But then I was just going to blame it on you and that list you're on. *wink*

No really, this is annoying, lol.

peace

No problem on my end. Using firefox and flashblock but flashblock wouldn't make a difference with pop ups.

Glad I'm not getting it. Looks annoying

I got it here too. Absolutely annoying. What's the deal? Anything to be concerned about?

Back to the spell check problem in Firefox... Anyone on the admin. side know why it no longer works on ATS? nothing has changed on my end that I'm aware of and I did check another browser (Konqueror) and spell check worked fine, though I don't want to use that one. Ideas?

Grrr, that's frustrating for me! Lol. Just to clarify, are you using a spell check add-on, or no? I wasn't, and it worked fine up to about 2 weeks ago and then mysteriously quit working. Only on ATS posts.

ed: for sp. Ack.

I don't usually use Firefox, but I tried and the spell checker works.

I only have languages added to the spell-checker, my spell-checker is not an add-on.

Thanks Skeptic!

No more pop-ups for me at the moment.

For the record this is the only problem I have ever had with ATS in nearly 2 years!

Good response from the mods, and good sense of humor from them as well!

I don't have an add on...I have very few of those...

If it is really a hassle, de-installing and than re downloading may not hurt to much...

I actually use Word to compose my opening threads and do all the spellcheck stuff and put all the basic code in, is that common practice with a lot of people?

I am always mindful that my Browser will crash and I will loose everything I have written!

Will give it a go, thanks.

ETA:
uninstalling and reinstalling did not help.

I used the same method, until I started using Opera, which has a spell-check add-on and that's much more stable than Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Word has an advantage, it has a spell-checker and a grammar checker.

Just wondering if any MOD will comment on why we are now seeing ads again?

Thank you.

Also someone messaged me telling me to use *SNIP* and this will block ads!

Cheers

We are not supposed to block ads on ATS, and I don't know why you see ads now, I never stopped seeing them.
