You can upload it in the same way you can upload a photo or a video, just click here (I hope it works
).

PDF is one of the file types allowed.

Hmm that's odd, it says "You do not have permission to submit media!"

Sorry, do you mind doing it for me?

You have permission, you just need to log in separately to ATS Media. Go to the Media home page and enter the same user name and password you use on ATS.

LOL yeah turns out I just wasn't logged in.

But I have tried to upload the file three times and it keeps crashing my browser every time

Seems like an ideal kind of document to host here so I'm hoping someone else can get it to work?

I was using the title "Free 2000+ Page eBook on Free Energy Devices by Patrick Kelly"

Hey guys and gals, I've been here long enough to know this by now but for some reason I still don't, my bad! Anyways, I want to add a picture to a post but the pic is too big to fit onto the page.

What do I need to add to the embed link so that it has the ability to scroll?

Thanks

Hi Hi - Yesterday there was a thread from an OP that was, well, let's say, sketchy.

I can't find it anywhere today - even in my posts, and I KNOW I replied to the thread.

Do threads just really up and disappear?

(I know - removed is a better word but disappear sounds cooler)..

Thanks

peace

Yes. If the thread was in violation of our T and C, then it would go in the trash bin. It isn't gone completely, staff can still access it but it is unavailable to any one else.

I don't know that it violated T&C but it sure sounded like someone perpetuating lie, I mean a Hoax.

Thanks for the info though!

Is this thread you were referring too?

www.abovetopsecret.com...

It is in the hoax section of the board but wasn't removed.

Trying to upload a picture but all I get is:

'Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14656 bytes) in /home/abovetopsecret/media/classes/image.class.php on line 129'

Any Ideas?

The image was too big for the Media Portal.

Was it a large image?

3664 x 2748
1.45 MB

I could have sworn I had uploaded images just as big.

And that is the most annoying thing about the media section...

I, along with many others, have raised the issue several times.
It's very annoying to have to upload to photobucket or imageshack to resize, save to computer and then upload resized version to ATS media.... It gets very, very tedious and I hope with the introduction of ATS 2010, that something is done about this issue.

Wow... Thanks Blupblup.

I almost forgot about the 2010 ATS change.

Can someone shed any light on ATS 2010 its progress ?
I've been often told soon...

In the very near future "soon" is going to need another definition.

Functionality issue? / bug? / fat fingers? / small brain?

I attempt to copy then paste (CNTRL + C and CNTRL + V) four lines of text into a reply from a website (Using the External Quote tags. EX function) but it would only paste the first line. As a fluke, I opened MS Word, pressed CNTRL + V and viola. All four lines of text were there.

This has happened to me on NUMEROUS occasions and I had just assumed it was HTML formatting bugginess. Are there known issues/workarounds for pasting text from external sites as decscibed?

Thanks

I made an image with that size, tried to upload it and I got the same error, so it looks like that's beyond the limits of the Media Portal.

Why do you upload the images to photobucket or imageshack to resize them, don't you have any program that can do that?

It may be a HTML related problem, when you paste something from a web page onto Word it pastes it as HTML.

Also, I don't see any reason for the text not being pasted into ATS, if it's on the clipboard it gets transferred. Unless there was something strange with the text and a horizontal scrollbar appeared at the bottom of the text area where we create our posts.
