The way I look at 2012 is like this, We dont know. We can speculate, assume, and talk about it all we want but we dont know what will happen if anything at all. But the myan calander ending in 2012 is serious stuff, its not some human with a wierd name making predictions this has history behind it. All I know is im not taking any chances im saving ammo, food and water.

I think the actual cause is something to do with Nibiru. A large planet that orbits once every 3500 odd years. allegedly the " 12 planet "
Apparently all governments know about it but have kept it secret like ufos.
In 2012 it is supposed to pass between our sun and the earth causing extreme polar changes and subsequent catastrophe on earth. this pending doom is related to the mayan calender, well the cycle of which finishes in 2012. only 1 third of the worlds population is deemed to survive.
Then the calender begins a new cycle.
