Is it or will it ever be possible to travel in time?

Some theories, most notably special and general relativity, suggest that suitable geometries of spacetime, or specific types of motion in space, might allow time travel into the past and future if these geometries or motions are possible. In technical papers physicists generally avoid the commonplace language of "moving" or "traveling" through time ('movement' normally refers only to a change in spatial position as the time coordinate is varied), and instead discuss the possibility of closed timelike curves, which are worldlines that form closed loops in spacetime, allowing objects to return to their own past. There are known to be solutions to the equations of general relativity that describe spacetimes which contain closed timelike curves, but the physical plausibility of these solutions is uncertain.

Personally i don't believe that anyone or anything will be able to time travel the reason being that if it was possible wouldn't there be someone or something that has traveled through time here with us today!?

its possable that there might be laws or rules that stop us in the future from coming back so as not to disrupt the future-- there present or they could be coming back and influencing our lives today maybe there the ufo's we see or maybe jesus was a time traveler sent back to teach us how to be, it would explain some of the magical things he was said to have done -- he was an agent of the time travelers and he broke protocol to change his present but it all went to # anyway idk i do think that will be able to go into the future some day but only if humans can evole alittle more and stop sweatin the small stuff the meaning of life is to grow and evolve, to become god like, to explore and anything in our minds that we can imagine, is possable--- that includes time travel

Time is not a dimension and only goes one way for us mortals.

Anyway what would time travel prove.
Is it needed at all.
You would still need location.
So where would want to be at what time is a good topic.

Is there any time or place greater than right now for me.
Don't think so.

But others have fun with the idea.
