Oakland Park man finds skeleton in newly trimmed tree

OAKLAND PARK - How no one smelled the horror that authorities say may have been up in Glenn Parker's overgrown tree for a year is a mystery, but the partially mummified body made itself known last week.

This is really bizarre. How can the local sheriff dept conclude so easy that it was a suicide? How did it end up there? How did no one notice it being there before, the smell?

I wonder if someone or something was passing by and just dropped it off.

Hah, I live a few miles south of Oakland Park.
I originally grew up there.

That's pretty strange, but I think the way bodies decompose
so fast in a hot and humid climates like Florida would explain
why no one smelled the body. It had probably stopped smelling
after a few days, then it mummified in the heat over a year.

Hell, when I was younger I found a truck that had been eaten up
by a bunch of trees, but you would never be able to notice just by
looking at the dense foliage. Now that I'm thinking about it, there's
so many areas of dense foliage around here that I've explored,
you can always find the most unusual things, like washer and dryers,
car parts, desks, chairs, you name it.

Anyways, the article states:

Parker said investigators are checking to see if the remains could be those of his former roommate, who disappeared about a year ago.

It's probably his roomate, that's where I'm puttin' my money.
Whether is was an accident, suicide, or murder I do not know.

Interesting find from the Cobra Commander
