Did anyone see Glenn Beck's Thursday 5-1-08 show? Where he aired much longer video clips of Rev. Wright, instead of the brief 'snippets' the media had been flooding us with. I can only come to the conclusion that he is a hypocrite or just another shill in this media monster.

I've never seen/heard this guy b4 up here in Canada - don't think I want to, he makes my skin crawl - such brazen stupidity and/or attempt at manipulation. Did he have no idea that viewers might actually make up their own mind about the clips, and that it wouldn't be what he hoped for? Hopefully middle america isn't as dumb anymore as he believes.
Thanks for the links to the reverend tho, it was nice to see the fuller picture, a very needed balance to the isolated clips the MSM has been showing.

Glenn Beck is another treasonous sock puppet for war profiteers.

He has as much integrity as the bacteria that lines the anus of a dung beetle.

Although Glen gets so far ahead of himself he often makes himself look like an idiot, I do enjoy his show sometimes for entertainment purposes. He has interesting viewpoints on some subjects, and outright crazy ones on other subjects.

I will never forget when he said the most intelligent this I have ever heard:
"Bk now serves breakfast all day. So come on McDonald's, I WANT SAUSAGE AND EGG McMUFFIN AT NIGHT TIME."

I want McMuffins at night time too Glen. I sure do. Bring on the all day Mcmuffin!!

at first i caught little segments of beck's show,,, and i thought this guy seems good and pretty levelheaded. then i decided to watch the full show a few times....consensus----total bliphead!!!!!!!!!

he even turned on ron paul and went msm on him,, with 9-11 rhetoric and such to basically "slander" him,,,,,that was the last straw


incidently,,, he has to have bodyguards for him and his family because of threats from viewers,,,,serves him right

Well, at least I'm not the only one who feels this way. I even bought Glenn's book. It sounds a lot like the 'old' Glenn Beck, with humorous yet thoughtful insight into many of today's problems.

But somehow he went totally ballistic over Obama (even before 'Rev. Wright's Greatest Hits') and now is milking every possible interpretation of anything Knight or Obama says (once I even heard him analyzing why Obama paused when he did, and whether he subjugated a verb properly and what that meant... seriously!).

Not very long ago, I was listening faithfully, as I love his humor and usually his insight... but this latest tirade against Obama is turning me off to him pretty quickly. I heard Knight's sermon this morning, and while he did make a few conspiratorial references, and maybe didn't fully understand some things about history, what he said was true. We did steal the land from the Indians, we did enslave Africans, we did imprison Japanese Americans during WWII... but it's the government he is preaching against, not a race.

Besides, how can I hold being conspiratorial against someone?

Alright... good to see pretty much all who replied are on board with me on this one. I thougth it may just be me... only briefly mind you... I was quickly backed up by a co-worker that night in another building who also watched separately. She could not believe what we had just witnessed and probably convinced her that I'm not all crazy talk all the time

I caught about 10 minutes of Glenn Beck tonite by accident.
I couldn't believe it! He was defending the oil company executives
who are now in front of Congress.
He's even a worse shill for corporate greed than I previously thought.

Glenn Beck is both a hypocrit and a shill, The nice thing about it is that he eventually works his viewpoint toward your own, although it most likely moves on from there.
