Another Freestyle thread?

We need another participant to make it even. Hopefully someone else will join soon.

I'll send ADVISOR a U2U to discuss the first round battles. You all should express yourself with rhymes..your own rhymes.

Being an old git i dont think i will participate this time.

I've just read all these rhymes, and I think it's gonna be tough. hm....

I don't think I can really study for this stuff, but I'll do my best. It's alot different than a debate.

We should set up rapid fire rounds, oppenents replying within a certain space of time, helping to make it 'freestyle'. That would be good fun.

Here is the final list that I sent to ADVISOR. A couple of people decided not to participate. Please advise the man if you wish to have your name taken off. ADVISOR has started arranging the battles so I'm sure we'll hear from him soon.

Yep notice that my name aint on the list? this is due to my lack of braincells !But i look forward to seeing the battles.

Here it is, this list doesn't represent the order of participation.
That will depend on the agreed upon time of those paired, and the presence of Bangin or myself.

This freestyle event is to be held in the ATS Chat.
Duration and style of duel should be predetermined between opponents prior to round one*.
Boths sides must agree upon minimum length and number of lines, agreed terms then sent to Bangin or myself to verify.
Round one will start after all terms are sent.

I've been away for a few days only to come back to some top notch base organization. I like the idea of doing it in chat. Since I was just a wee noob when the first freestyle thread was strated I have no ideas what the rules should be, but I'll let my voice be heard if I agree or disagree with whatever Bangin and ADVISOR put forth.

My only rule:

ABSOLUTELY NO BITING ANYTHING. NOTHING. NOT EVEN OBSCURE RAPPERS LYRICS LIKE BROTHA LYNCH HUNG.

Um Loki, do I U2U you and ADVISOR and Bangin with my date, number of lines, etc.? I'm confused.

I see some confusion, the two of you need to agree before u2uing Bangin or myself. The final agreement can even be posted here, that way no mistake can be made of the terms.

I have a little experience with 'chat' freestyles, so allow me to post a couple of options. Please note: BTS chat is not working right now.

You can choose to post a few bars at a time (2-3 bars, which equals 4-6 lines). Your opponent may post the same amount of bars after you've posted. Then, you guys can choose to respond back depending on the amount of bars you set as the maximum. Here's an example using one of insite's posts. We'll pretend it's two different people in a battle, each using two bars a post:

First person (This is using two bars/four lines):
"If its a war you want, a war youll get
Ill send a rhyme ICBM to [V] up your set
While I cruise in the jet, I'm taking all bets
knowing full well that insite hasnt even hit yet"

Pretend second person:
"Out of reach bitch please, get down on your knees
im taking you offline like a lyric strip tease
your style is sad, worse than good its bad
you bite rhymes and take time so ill take it back to brag"

First person again:
" verse two, too bad for you, theres nothing you can do
the (c) i spit is sicker than the avian bird flu
i keep it recent but far from decent to make sure it connects
I know you dont get it, but it gets the girls wet "

Pretend second person again:
"im not on your cassette deck but ill keep your (c) in check
I said the same thing to your girl when we first met
Yet, the vietnam vets no the status
dont get mad at us if my rhymes are the phattest "

FYI-We used a minimum of 16 lines last time. I recommend at least 8 lines for chat, but 12 seems like a good number. Remember, it's up to you guys to determine the battle criteria. I simply posted an option.
