Greetings from Australia

I wish to establish a set of rules for studying Evidence of Time Travel.

This study is not about 'How time travel works' nor 'When was a time machine invented'.
It is not asking for opinions whether time travel is possible or not, but simply Is there any evidence documented in ancient texts that relate to visits to the past ?

PURPOSE and AIMS
- To seek out and identify any evidence of Time Travel that may be documented in ancient texts.
- Create a set of rules for this task.
- Scrutinize and examine past information and any new evidence found - using an organized peer process of evaluation.
- Make a Judgement based upon the evidence presented, then state a Conclusion.

METHOD
I am seeking a ‘Submission of Ideas’ regarding how to go about gathering information and then evaluating it.
STEP 1 . Develop a Search Criterion
STEP 2 . Gather Evidence
STEP 3 . Examine and Evaluate evidence
STEP 4 . Form a Judgement and Conclusion

I am hoping your members will be able to contribute to my project with ideas or comments.

To have your ideas officially acknowledged, please use the submission page on the website cited.

Yours Faithfully,
Eddy Pengelly

If ancient texts are your flavour then this page here was the first I found by googling "Time Travel Bible"

Prophecy and theology It is interesting to note that any religion which postulates the existence of fulfilled prophecy requires, at the very least, an agent which can move information from the future into the past.

In Christian theology, for example, God is assumed to exist unbound by space or time. Doctrinally, God is held to be omniscient and omnipresent. Statements in the Bible such as Jesus's claim "before Abraham was born, I am" (John 8:58) and Peter's claim "[Jesus] was chosen before the creation of the world" (1 Peter 1:20) (assuming the creation of the world began at t = 0) imply that God does not occupy the same timeline that we do. This is further supported by the assertion "I the LORD do not change" (Malachi 3:6), since change requires movement along, and constrained by, a temporal continuum.

Two popular interpretations of these statements are that God exists outside the space-time continuum; or exists at every point in space-time simultaneously. In either case, God can transfer information from one point in space-time to any other point without restriction.

Then Research nephilim as my belief as is the belief of plenty of people , that many ancient texts are describing advanced civilizations visiting and interacting with humans , Well if they can travel the vast distances of space we have to consider the old bending space time thing otherwise if scientists theories , are correct they wouldnt be able to without vast amounts of time passing by on their journeys.

Is this your site Ed?

Yes. I investigated the Lost Book of Enki in 2007 and found evidence of time travel in Sumerian accounts.
That site is my Report on that subject.

I am now trying to formulate a 'proper' criterion in order to have it all (plus new findings and suggestions) peer reviewed.

I think it might be a good idea to first differentiate between physical time travel involving a visitor possibly from the future interacting with the past, from information that has somehow been passed from the present or future, either by transmission from the future or reception in the past through particularly talented individuals (psychics, if you will).

A third alternative I think also bears serious consideration is what I suppose you could call a "shift in consciousness," where a personality from the future inhabits or physically influences a person in the past without physical travel. Kind of like demonic possession, I suppose, except where a coherent projected consciousness (not a demon) from one time shares a point of view with a consciousness in a body in another time. A remote viewing inside somebody else's head, in another time.

In this last case, I always like to consider the assassination of Louisiana Governor Huey Long in 1935 a very likely contender for a bit of extra-temporal interference. Long was a radical populist, isolationist, and dictator-in-training who was just on the verge of potentially gaining enough widespread national popularity with his "Every Man a King" campaign to challenge Franklin D. Roosevelt for the U.S. Presidency in 1936. Had he not been shot and killed by Dr. Carl Austin Weiss (or, it has been suggested, one of his own bodyguards), he might have either won the presidency, or at least mobilized enough socialist isolationists to hinder the U.S. entry into World War II, with obviously disatrous consequences.

The thing that makes this such a strong contender for extra-temporal influence is the timing. It happens at a point in time just before Long could develop a large campaign and just before a point of no return in the events leading up to WWII. It's a relatively small, pinpoint intervention -- only two people dead -- that could have been accomplished without a lot of investigation and possible discovery, yet could have created huge ripples in that future, which we recognize as our accepted past history.

Weiss's motivation for the attack is unclear and hearsay, since Long's bodyguards shot him approximately 50 times. Weiss, being Jewish, may have also been a prime candidate to have been inhabited or influenced by a consciousness in an alternate future if this kind of time travel utilized a kind of genetic harmonic "tuning." That is, it might be easier for a Jewish scientist in the future to move their consciousness back along a Jewish genetic line into the past. And there would obviously a stong motivation for a Jewish person to stop the Nazis in WWII, rather than have the Nazis survive in some functional form.

It would be interesting to discover some records of Weiss's behavior before the attack, to see if there had been any obvious changes in his personality. On the other hand, if it was one of Long's own bodyguards who fired the fatal shot, one of them could have been influenced. It would only take a few seconds of contact, then BOOM, history changes.

Just a notion I like to kick around once in a while.

Very interesting; although I suspect that identifying and establishing the criteria will be the most difficult part of it (because of the inherently "subjective" perception and accounts of such phenomena).

I can recall no such instance from the Bible (not right now) - but Muhammad's "night journey", for example, certainly could qualify as a possible candidate, at the very least. After all, unusual space displacement IS time displacement, too. ; )

there is a book called "secrets of the lost races" that you may find helpful, the book deals with the idea that humans may have been visited by other beings that left things behinds etc, but to be honest there is a lot of information about "ooparts" this stands for "out of place artifacts" basically like something made of a metal that doesn't exist on earth, or items that have been found under many layers of the earth that do not fit in with the time etc. these could be attributed to visitors from other planets but could also be connected to visitors from the future! the book also has many reference links and you may find something useful using it as a starting point.

hope your studies are fruitful

….and his medical knowledge was beyond anyone else

Also similarly ?
Edgar Cayce, March 18, 1877 - January 3, 1945

RE: leonardo de vinci: “almost seems he went back in time, doesn't it?”

Are you inferring he was a time traveller (who went back to the 1400s), or could he had an encounter with a time traveller, or was he like Cayce and ‘saw things’ of the future ?

During my research I have found that Time Travellers documented in ancient texts do not have a birth date nor (often) a death date.

This means that Cayce, Nostradamus, and De Vinci were probably not time travellers themselves but received their ‘future information’ in some other means.

Some documented Angels (one named Gabriel), the LORD, (and GOD) do not have birth and death dates, and seem to appear in texts where the visited ‘prophet’ describe the pictures from the modern cd-roms.

VIEW preliminary results

Please be advised that 8 preliminary results are now available for viewing.

The Study Criterion was completed and initial examination of selected texts undertaken.

Pegg's 'Descriptive' Theory

The documented accounts in certain ancient texts known as prophetic "dreams" or "visions" are about the contents of the 1995 produced Ancient Civilizations of the Mediterranean multi-media cd-rom.

To test Pegg's theory we need to conduct a REALITY-CHECK to see if it is true for all, many, some, or no ancient texts.

To do this we need to use 'If-Then' logic, and PREDICT what will happen when Pegg's theory is applied to other ancient texts. We then need to conduct EXPERIMENTS and OBSERVE what happens.

If-Then Prediction
In relation to the cited texts, IF the theory is correct, THEN we will observe that pictures from the Ancients cd-rom match to the descriptions in the cited ancient texts.

If Pegg's theory fails our reality check because its predictions do not match observations, then it can be rejected as false.

You now have the opportunity to examine 8 sets of observations to decide for yourself whether Pegg’s theory has merit or not.

Interesting theory.

Yet, it is highly speculative that documented accounts in ancient texts all point to a single multi-media CD produced in 1995.

Such as most likely the persons who created the CD made use of the passages in those ancient texts to create the artwork. This is in keeping with every form of media presented to the public.

Notice, there is no supportable evidence that time travelers even viewed this CD, much less set easter eggs in history pointing to it.

Too, anyone can use a past event to create art, writing, or video and then claim time travelers, who live in the current day or the future, have/will see this art, writing, or video and make reference to it in the past.

Thus, without proof of time travel there is no merit to the conclusions stated by the PPHC Study Group. Likely, this is a viral marketing campaign to sell the multi-media CD.

RE: “without proof of time travel there is no merit to the conclusions stated by the PPHC Study Group”

The pages referenced only show 11 examples, so I will accept your criticism and your point at this stage.
When the other 30 or so ancient texts are presented for evaluation, you will have the opportunity to view further evidence.

The conclusion page has been amended to read…

JUDGEMENT
One set of matching details could just be a coincidence, and could be the result of the makers of the cd-rom using one particular set of ancient descriptions. But over eight ancient sets of details matching is beyond a coincidence.
The same set of descriptions turn up in many ancient stories where most are associated with a messenger turning up in a bright light (or 'dream') carrying a stone of testimony (aka. wheel, tablet, plate, or disc) which tells of future things and provides 'visions'. These extra associated characteristics indicate that the same source was viewed by all the ancient writers and story tellers by the same means - and not that any one ancient story was the source used by the makers of the cd-rom for their imagery.

CONCLUSION

It would be premature to credit Ronald Pegg with the discovery of Evidence of Time Travel based upon just eight examples.
These results warrant further investigation.
If the examination of more texts produce similar results thus supporting Pegg's claims, then we may be able to state that ancient texts describe the contents of a modern cd-rom - but is it Evidence of Time Travel ?

RE: “less set easter eggs in history pointing to it.”

You really need to read Pegg’s work where in over 30 ancient texts he found the Ancients cd-rom contents described.
I assume these are the easter eggs of which you speak.

RE: “Likely, this is a viral marketing campaign to sell the multi-media CD”

No. The cited cd-rom was made in 1995 by a French company that has now been bought out by an Italian company. It is no longer available for public purchase.
