An apparant suicide, or damage control? Silenced to keep her from spilling the beans?

Mmmmmm... she never did get to publish those extensive telephone listings did she? Whatever happened I'm sure there are sighs of relief across Capitol Hill

Perhaps she just had no intention of "doing time"

She was convicted on Tuesday of money laundering, using the mail for illegal purposes and racketeering, but she had not yet been sentenced.

Then again, it would seem a bit odd that little if any of her "client lists/info" ever came out in the trial...

There has been much speculation in the media about who was on Palfrey's client list, but few details came out during the trial.

Randall L. Tobias resigned as a deputy secretary of state after acknowledging to ABC News that he used Palfrey's service for massages.

Massages? m'kay.

... where's yeahright when you need him?

This little gem should be investigated by hard-core professionals. It seems that this was NOT the kind of woman who would just - give it up without a fight.

But in this 'state of affairs' who knows what we will be told by the 'free' press.

First thing I did when I saw this break was come on here. Made a long winded post only to see you beat me to it!

Anyways, I find this highly suspicious.

I thought the same thing about the no intention of doing time. The thing I find odd is that she hadn't been sentenced yet, she had no idea what time she would be doing? Perhaps they were afraid she would strike a plea bargain and name names?

On the Alex Jones show, I heard her say "I would never kill myself". This is totally obvious, I think she was about to start talking, and someone did not want to be named. (Dick Cheney)

So let me guess, she shot herself in the back of the head 2x with a shotgun. Or maybe she tied herself up and drown in the bathtub.

She'd already been convicted, hence her sentence would be up to the judge. Any "plea bargain" would have had to been worked out prior to her plea or conviction. (?)

This thing stinks to high heaven..she made all of that money, went to the pains of actually bringing it INTO the open, just to off herself?

Not a chance...she obviously knew there would be risks with such high profile names on her docket, and, obviously, not a stupid woman either, so I'm quite certain she weighed the risks of releasing the names from the circle.

It IS possible that she may have believed se would end up another "Spitzer Girl" type scenario, but, again, having not been stupid, I'm sure both sides were on her mind.

The other side of this is that, she is in the Witness Protection Program...for her list.

Unbelievable!

The poor guy in Austin tied himself up and drove into a lake...but it was a suicide...yeah right. This new story just makes perfect sense according to that line of reasoning. How much do you think this will really be investigated? About has much chance in hell as the Decider or Cheney getting impeached.

Stinks bad...

'D.C . Madam' reported dead in Florida

One of the escort service employees was former University of Maryland, Baltimore County, professor Brandy Britton, who was arrested on prostitution charges in 2006. She committed suicide in January before she was scheduled to go to trial.

Last year, Palfrey said she, too, was humiliated by her prostitution charges, but said: "I guess I'm made of something that Brandy Britton wasn't made of."

She talked like even though she was humiliated she wouldnt commit suicide.

if she was wise then she had several backups of her list distributed amongst trusted friends with instructions they be made public should she ever 'commit suicide'. lets hope she was that careful....

If you believe Palfrey killed herself, I've got some property on the moon you may be interested in....

It is painfully obvious that she was silenced to keep the Washington insiders from being named prior to her sentencing. Pathetic bastards!

I want to learn more about the details of this "suicide". Like other poster said this lady didn't look the type that would go down just like that.

It looks to me that someone had the great idea to wait until she left DC so they could off her and make it look like a suicide. Anyways I don't think we ever going to know.

Palfry said on Alex Jones that she had no intention of killing herself. He asked her because he knew that if she "knew too much" they would kill her so he made her say it on record she had no intention of killing herself.

Palfry was suicided end of story but the citizens of the world are pathetic feeders and deserve to be killed i guess. The joke is that the police will be complicit in killing any investigation. We all live under systemic corruption and we are just worthless eaters, the unwashed masses. This is so unreal.

See what happens when you have the stuff on big wheels. Her little black book no doubt has vanished along with her life and story. I bet there's gonna be a lot of testosterone induced eye winking at DC cocktail parties for the next week or more.

... and not of the government sec either.

To commit suicide is a terrible way to go, both mentally and during the process.... tried it once myself, and I'll never try it again. However, maybe she didn't commit suicide, maybe it's just a cover up.

I have to say that this sounds like cover up to keep her mouth shut.

The way this woman was conducting herself with all the control she had over the list of her Clients they way she would face the criticism and her face on TV, she didn't look suicidal to me.

With the list in her possession and everything she knew a small time in jail was nothing with all the money that she could have gotten after doing her time.

I am sure that foul play is behind her suicide.
