This is my new country song i wrote this morning.
I thought i'd share it with ATS since you guys are my inspiration here.
Of course we all know a country protest song is dead in the water so
i guess this is as far as it will go lol.

A poor misuse of your intelligence and mine.

We always look to our friends.
To smooth the edge of life's rough ends.
But little did we know , that little did they know.
I can't say the answers there, come on honey lets be fair.
But do they really care if our love grows.

I always tried to keep a job.
But half the time i feel i'm robbed.
As more goes out, than i bring in.
Wage's never seem to rise.
As price's reach unto the sky.
And job's disapear into thin air.

Our childern fighting overseas.
