took this picture december 06, shown alot of people in work who were taken back by it.
the woods were it was taken is a castle and old battle fortress
take a look
as soon as i uploaded the images to my comp it sent shivers down my spine.
could be the lighting or the fact it was taken in b and w but hey....i looks like a knight with armour on and looking right at me
ive located the subject within the 4 red marks
you may have to save the image and zoom in

Where in the shot is he? It's still wearly here nut I don't see anything except a leaf strewn path...There are some red dots in the middle that I can see...

Thank you.

As for the image, IMO, it's just a trick of light and bush. Something I would have never noticed had you not pointed it out.

I think it's just a bunch of leaves that looks a little like a knight. It's too pixellated to see clearly when you zoom in.

its like looking at clouds and seeing faces, just light and shadow approximating something
right click on the picture and select "view image" to get a bigger/better view.

It's just leaves, shadows, and JPEG compression.

I have to agree, just a trick of the leaves/light/shadow. It took me a while to notice anything out of the ordinary. Thanks for sharing though!

What's really bizarre is that I was trying to find it unzoomed out and I thought..."wow that's a strange place to put the dots...is that supposed to be marking its waist? Wouldn't they mark out the face?"
Because what I saw was like one of those magic-eye things where if you unfocus your eyes the pattern emerges into something 3D and I saw a face with dark things along its cheeks, like the edges of a chain coif, then shoulders and hands crossed across the chest as if they were holding a sword, like when knights were buried.
I wish I were at home so I had the software to outline it for you in the pic. I originally thought it was some kind of a hoax because it appeared to be some kind of magic-eye photo. As soon as I get home (in about 2 1/2 hours) I'll mark it out and post it here.

after i zoomed in on it I saw all 4 dots and what does look like a little midget knight...I still think its a cool trick of the leaves, but still really neat.

Pretty picture nonetheless

Ok here's pics of what I saw:

I tried to make the areas that were most prominent stand out by using dodge & burn tools in PS CS2. If there is a good filter in PS CS2 to make things stand out I'd really appreciate it--my photoshop experience extends to painting not to filters.

I have more shots with notes, outlines, arrows, and zoomed in:

arrows & notes

notes with white outline

zoomed in with notes

zoomed in with outline

photoshop

Does anyone else see it? when I did I'd let my eyes unfocus, kind of like the magic eye tricks:
magic eye

I'm probably just going blind but hey it was fun
Thanks for posting the pic
