Report: Iraq windfall soars along with oil prices

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Iraq's government is expected to reap a $70 billion windfall from soaring oil prices, about double the previous projections, the U.S. military's reconstruction watchdog reported Wednesday.

Now we should really expect the violence in Iraq to spike as the different sectors of the population try to fight for their piece of the cake.

On the other hand, this could be the result that the Bush Administration was expecting all along. Even if they dont totally control the oil, im pretty sure that not only the corrupt Iraqi government is reaping the benefits of this.
