Recruiters are just like a lot of other sales people whom in the last few years have seen their success shrink and the pressure to increase their numbers increase dramatically.

Of course there are some that are guilty of embellishment, blowing smoke, and outright bs. What is unfortunate is the stakes that the recruits are investing. They stand to lose much more than their sweet girlish laughter.

The promises made by military recruiters is just as honest and valid as the chain of command requires. Please remember that nothing happens without at least some of those in charge having knowledge of, giving specific orders, and in some cases of executive level operation, having plausible deniability.

Let the buyer beware.
