America will NEVER stand down in the face of evil. We have become a great country because we are not afraid of going toe to toe with anyone. We have defeated Communism, Facism, Socialism, Nazism and a Monarchy to bring freedom to hundreds of millions of people from every race, creed, religion and nationality. And we WILL defeat Islamo-Facism! 'We may love life like they love death'..............But as Patrick Henry said, "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death"!

Stop believing what the government says. most of the time its a lie. I bet Iran hasn't been supplying weapons in the country. I wish we had a government that wouldn't lie.

You should probably change your screen name to Anti-Gov then because every government lies as you said. Of course Iran is supplying weapons to militias in Iraq, that's a no-brainer.

Do some research and start posting some substance.

I don't know what you are smokin' It is a FACT that Iran's revolutionary gaurds/ Quds are arming, training and directing hezbollah, hamas and the militias in iraq. Like the poster above said. Do your research and then post. Either thay are stopped soon or when they get nuclear weapons they will surely give them to a 3rd party to carry out their dirty work.

No one said that Iran was responsible for the crash of the dollar.

But they are responsible for a movement to undermine it's currently damaged value.

If the dollar cannot buy Oil, the US cannot directly buy oil with it's own currency. We will need to exchange it for some other nations currency, some other nation whose currency will have it's value elevated while ours is devalued.

We will need to negotiate the value and pay the exchange rate every time we wish to buy something.

Then Iran will have caused the crash of the dollar. The real crash. The coming crash if they have their way. The final and toppeling crash.

Guns cannot stop this. Fleets cannot stop this, In fact they spew our wealth and disipate the value of our dollar.

Only sound economic behavior could stop this.

Now this is an intelligent post in a sea of nonsense.

The only way the U.S. could go to war in Iran is to initiate a draft, and the last time the draft was in effect to fight an un-necessary war the people of the U.S. came close to a revolt, and marched on Washington. Nixon was one scarred president, as he should have been. GW and his crew aren't that stupid.

All you U.S. bashers are a bunch of pathetic and jealous morons. If Iran had the capability to invade and take over Mexico, they would. Fortunately for the people of Earth, the Muslim religion leads to backwards science, and Muslims aren't very good soldiers except when they are picking on those who are even more undeveloped and incapable of protecting themselves.

There is no way in the world we should allow Iran to develop an atomic bomb. Military intervention would be a necessary step should we gain solid evidence that Iran is doing just that. We wouldn't have to invade Iran to solve this problem. Maybe take over a section to investigate. Our military has more than the necessary capability to pull such a manuver.

If the dollar falls too far, and China stops lending us money, then who will they, and the rest of the world, have to sell their products to? The Chinese might have to raise wages to develop a domestic demand. How terrible of a thought. If you think China is on the verge of taking over the world with their economic might, I suggest you check out their GDP and compare it the U.S.. U.S. workers will then be even more competitive on the world labor market, and the Japaneese and the Europeans can build more factories here to employ U.S. workers. After all, the U.S. work force is still the most productive in the world.

all the flag waving in the world has not gotten us outta that mess in mid-east and if you think China,Russia and other nations that do business with Iran are gonna stand by and let this happen you are living in a dream world.

They really don't have a choice Mike. If the US should take out Iran's Nuclear sites and military installations, China and Russia sure aren't going to stop us. The best thing we can do is become less dependent on China and maybe something like that would be the rift that starts that separation. It all started with greedy US businesses and NWO architects engaging China only to find out they are getting used and abused.

If the US wants to go after Iran, there is no country yet that can stop it. China has no long-range warfare capabilities and are still working on their first aircraft carrier. Russia can't afford it.

Hostile" Iran Sparks U.S. Attack Plan

www.cbsnews.com

CBS) A second American aircraft carrier steamed into the Persian Gulf Tuesday as the Pentagon ordered military commanders to develop new options for attacking Iran. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports that the planning is being driven by what one officer called the "increasingly hostile role" Iran is playing in Iraq - smuggling weapons into Iraq for use against American troops.
(visit the link for the full news article)

Usual ALARMIST CRAP unsupported by any meaningful research or thinking...

Here are some REAL facts for you:

- The tour of duty of Carrier Groups is 6 months: CVN-75 Harry S. Truman departed Norfolk 05 November 2007 and is now due for replacement by CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln - which "departed Everett 13Mar 2008 for a scheduled deployment to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility" - after having completed its 6 months deployment...

www.gonavy.jp...

- The telltale of a potential attack on Iran will be the concentration of Amphibious Expeditionary Groups, mainly the LHA's and LHB's, which are essential to secure the coast of the Strait of Hormuz to prevent Iran from closing the Strait with smart EM-52 mines and various supersonic anti-ships missiles, such as the Sunburn and Yakhont, against which the US fleet has no VIABLE DEFENSE...

Low and behold, there is ONLY one such group near Iran, which is the usual set-up: USS Nassau (LHA 4) - 5th Fleet

www.navy.mil...

When the US attacked Iraq, it had some 6 Carrier Groups and a large number of Expeditionary Groups on hand, so I can GUARANTEE you that NO attack against Iran is imminent and that if one were going to occur, the 5th Fleet would be wiped out in under a single day by the Sunburn, Yahkont and Klub-S (Sizzler) missiles fired under water by the 3 Kilo Class Iranian subs that are UNDETECTABLE by the US at speeds below 5 knots...

www.bloomberg.com...

The truth of the matter is that the US would lose a conventional war against Iran and this why they haven't done it, yet...

I hate to say this Solace, but you willl be proven wrong. The US 5th fleet won't take so much as a small dent if any from Iran or Russian supplied weapons.

Iran should not and will not have Nukes. This one will be mostly air and missle strikes on key assets.

Yeah, all Iran has to do is put a U.S. general in charge with full knowledge of U.S. naval operations. Then again, the U.S. doesn't need a carrier, they can strike Iran from any point in the world. The U.S. submarine fleet might have something to say about any Iranian subs that dared to venture out of their ports.

The reason GW hasn't invaded Iraq is that he is afraid that he would face his own invasion here at home from the well armed U.S. public.

Please forgive me if this has been brought to the thread already, but in case it has not, I think everyone should take the time to hear this guy out:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

PLEASE, watch all of these. YES, he is slow to start. YES, he is a bit preachy in his approach - but then he is a preacher. He also spent three years with the IMF attending their meetings (as a guest, I suppose).

Someone watched the first two minutes and then shot back something about, "I was told there is very little oil in Alaska so why is he using this as a solution?

I had to explain what this guy's bona fides are, and also that, contrary to how he interpreted this guy, by the end, you KNOW it isn't a solution he proposes.

And, again, this has incredible information.

If attacked Irans first priority shiould be to sink an aircraft carrier. This would be a great political as well as military victory. With two carriers in the gulf their chances are doubled.

Why don't you bother reading ALL the links I have provided before answering in as much details as I have provided...

The usual US Macho Bravado no longer cuts it after the troops got their asses kicked in Vietnam and now in Iraq where over $2 TRILLION are going to be spent before having to execute a shameful retreat for lack of money (total bankruptcy is looming) to continue - all for NOTHING...

Btw, Iran already has NUKES bought from Pakistan, Ukraine and North Korea and the means to wipe out Israel with its Ukrainian KH-55 cruise missiles nobody talks about......

www.globalsecurity.org...

And, yes, according to the Cypriot arms dealer (now dead: throat slashed...) and contrary to the US propaganda, the 12 KH-55 were equipped with their 200 kilotons warhead when they were sold to Iran...

Then again, maybe Iran has bought a bill of goods that won't perform as expected. That is why what'shisname has been shooting off his mouth. He got suckered. After the dust settles and the carriers are still floating and a stinger is up his rear, what'shisname will probably be thinking about how badly he got screwed. They said that Saddam's elite republican guard was going to put the whup on U.S. troops, and that didn't happen either. If you look at the death rates of U.S. soldiers verses the death rates of their enemies in combat situations, you might want to re-think your bravado.

Starting a nuclear war with Isreal would be the most foolish thing Iran could ever do. I hope not, Persian people are very good people, and they do not deserve to die in the horrible manner which nuclear war would bring. God help us all if those nutcases get ahold of a nuke.

You don't want to get the U.S. public behind a war effort. We already have enough war mongers, why stir the pot?

not a surprise really, iran has one of the largest reserves of crude oil in the world, alot of it is untapped and this is the main reason for invasion

Exactly! Now we all know that Bush can't go in there waving a flag saying we are after the oil ie tell the truth. Instead they have to come up with a justification that the US public will believe. It is quite clear from the responses here that there seems to be enough belief if the line "Iran is arming Iraq insurgents which is killing our soldiers".

Why do you fall for this?

If I get in trouble for this I dont give a crap.....YOU ARE A IDIOT. If they sink a US war ship we will be forced to nuke Iran. Do you understand that. What we will be left with is a sad era for mankind and the deaths of MILLIONS of innocent people. Is that what you want dude.

Islamo-fascism is a word created to impose dramatic impact on the ears of the public.

But what the heck does it mean? Analyze the word. It's nothing but nonsense.

Corporatism, as Benito Mussolini called it... or as we would call it, real fascism is alive and well in America.

The banks, the big corporations, and the oil cartel are the greatest enemies to mankind, and they have no national identity, or patriotic loyalty.
