Yep. Let me tell you mate, it has to go everywhere... very uncomfortable. Luckily it's transparent, can't sneak to well in florescent orange.
it's great for styling hair.

Christan Pinto made an interesting documentary on the masonic origins of America and this video by David Flynn shows something interesting about the unfinished pyramid on the back of the dollar...one thing about these mystery religions, they are occultic and it's at just the right time to have the truth about it revealed.

I have a couple of questions I would like to ask. What religion/cult allows it's members to practice other faiths before them? What cult tells you to put family, work, friends, the Laws of the Land and your religion before it? Just curious
!!!

One other point, at the beginning of this thread somebody claimed that Charles Manson gave the Masonic sign of distress in court. Well that worked out well for him didn't it.

fraternal regards

Actually their is nothing in Feemasonry that will interfere with your own daily avocation or your religion.

In Masonry you are taught to put work and family before other things and uphold the laws of the realm which is the country you belong to.

So im curious to your question what cult does tell you to do these things as its certainly not freemasonry plus freemasonry is a fraternity not a cult!

Dave,

Apologies if I was unclear but that was the point I was making. Calling Freemasonry a religion/cult when it places itself behind Religion in your Obligation clearly doesn't add up.

fraternal regards

Renaissance art was using all of those symbols way before us. Like most organisations that use symbols we are rarely original.

Stoney,

This is an aspect of Freemasonry that doesn't seem to resonate with those who naysay it. The simple reality is that Freemasonry instructs its followers to Be good husbands/men first, good employees/ers second, good followers of their religion thirdly and fourthly good Masons. Hardly the combination Hell-bent on world-wide domination uberalles, IMHO.

To be honest Fitz, I am not posting for the noisy minority. There will be plenty of impartial readers who do not post who are just interested in the Truth. The Conspiracy documentaries on the Tv caught my interest and I started surfing the internet to try and find out more. The Masons on both Tv and internet convinced me that there was nothing sinister and I joined in May. The Conspiracy Theorist do a great job in raising our profile so we should thank them.

fraternal regards Stoney

very succinct....

"All true Masons know that their work is not secret. They also
realize that it must remain unknown to all who do not live the
true Masonic Life. If the secrets of Masonry were shouted from
the housetops they would be absolutely safe. Certain spiritual
qualities are necessary before Masonic secrets can be understood
by the Brothers themselves. It is only those who have been
weighed in the balance and found true, upright, and square who
have prepared themselves by their own growth to appreciate the
inner meanings of their Craft. To the rest of their Brethren
within or without the Lodge their sacred rituals must remain, as
Shakespeare might have said, "Words, words, words." Within the
Mason's own being is concealed the Power, which, blazing forth
from his purified being, constitutes the Builder's Word. His
life is the password which admits him to the true Masonic Lodge.
His spiritual urge is the sprig of acacia which through the
darkness of ignorance still proves that spiritual fire is alight.
Within himself he must build those qualities which will make
possible his true understanding of the Craft. He can show the
world only forms which mean nothing; the life within is forever
concealed until the eye of Spirit reveals it."

In Freemasonry there are 'secrets' and there are 'Secrets'.

The secrets are passwords, handshakes and other means of identification.

The Secrets, which I believe is what the thread is about, cannot be expressed in the written word or even spoken language. The Secrets exist inside each of us (even non-masons) and our Masonic Journey is to find where they are hiding deep inside.

Not that I expect anyone to take my word for it but through personal contact my sense of what makes a low-level Mason vs. a high-level Mason is largely whether or not you are looking for 'secrets' or 'Secrets' respectively. Some see it as a place to fraternize and don't take it very seriously while others see it as a real opportunity for spiritual growth and take up the task which is what it was its original purpose (nothing to do with being stone cutters-- I don't mean that "original").

In fact, I'd say any that are purportedly involved in the more nefarious activities are in fact, under the aforemention definition, quite the low-level Masons.

Secrets? Hmmm... what are they really and what does it really matter? Your favorite restaurant is a secret to me, as is your mothers name or what you do behind closed doors. "Seeking light in masonry" is nothing more than a metaphor which means as a man you choose to strive for higher learning, and doing so within a fraternity like this only means that you have an opportunity to travel the same road with like minded brothers. The key is that it is only an opportunity, where the rest is individuality and personal choice.

Government conspiracies, evil esoteric rituals, mind control, it's all amusing to say the least, but truthfully there is probably darker thoughts spinning when the average person looks at porn on the internet. In reality though plenty of Masons just join for the camaraderie and are content in their position, while others push it to extremes, even going so far as questioning all angles of the square.

I would have to say that Masonry is guilty of helping good men willing to step forward gain more compassion for the world, and definitely a better code of ethics, but as for true secrets? lol, everyone has them. Your boss, your neighbors, your family and yes, even you.

~Solemnly and Sincerely~

that is not an easy question to answer. most secrets exist to be hidden. the few secrets that do come to your attention probably can not be trusted
